*Bzz, bzz* *bzz, bzz*
"Nooooooo," I moan, wondering why the fuck my alarm is going off on a Sunday. I grab it, opening one eye to see that it's not my phone; it's Jace calling me.
"Hello?" I whine with the phone sitting on top of my ear as I lay my head on the side.
"Hey, did I wake you?"
"No, I was wide awake doing star jumps."
"Hm, did you drink a lot after I left?"
After he left? Fuck, last night... The party... Dancing with Jace... Alex... Wesley.
Holy shit. I shoot up into a sitting position, looking beside me to find no one. I fell asleep beside him, when could he have left? Did he leave when I fell asleep? That's... sketchy. That... does not make me feel good.
"Yasmin?" Jace says through my phone and I put it back to my ear.
"What? No, I didn't drink after you left."
"You okay?"
"Yes, why?" I hold the covers against my naked body, squeezing my eyes shut. Fuck.
"You sound weird."
"I'm fine. Where are you?" I'm temporarily distracted by the sound of wind coming through the phone.
"School. Kicking balls around."
"Why?"
"Helps me clear my head."
"Why did you call me?"
"Um, I need you to tell Val to call me. He's not answering his phone."
"Why did you have to wake me up for that? You could have just asked Alex."
"Don't feel like talking to him right now." There's a loud bang from a soccer ball being hit off the net.
"Petty."
"I'm not petty; he was an ass. You shoulda seen the shit he texted me." Another loud bang.
"You should be used to Alex being an ass by now – although if he didn't make you leave then I probably wouldn't have-"
"Wouldn't have what?"
Had sex with Wesley.
My door opens and Alex stands there with a face that says he just heard me calling him an ass. "Who are you talking to?" He notices me holding the covers to my chest, "Did you have a guy in here?"
"What? You were with another dude after-" I hang up on Jace before he can finish talking.
"Go away!" I yell at Alex and he clenches his jaw, knowing that I wasn't alone last night as if it's a big deal. Again with treating me like a kid.
"I'm telling Mom," he says and my jaw drops, then he closes the door. I quickly get out of bed and put on a hoodie and pyjama shorts but when I get into the hall he's still standing there with his arms crossed over his chest.
"You made me get up for nothing."
"She's been working all night; I'll tell her once she's slept."
"Why would you do that?"
"Because i'm sick of you, and i'm sick of all these guys who think they're allowed to touch you."
"Why don't you say this to Valentino too?"
"I've told you – 'cause you're a girl. It's different."
"It's not diff-"
"It is."
