"Wow, you're alive," I say snidely, standing at the doorway of Valentino's room.
I was worried about walking in on him and some girl, but luckily it's just Montana in his bed, looking at her phone while Val lies on his stomach with his head to the side.
"Wish I wasn't," he mumbles.
"You better go clean up downstairs."
"I'm experiencing the worst comedown of my life. You do it."
"You're the one who threw the party. And you were an idiot last night, so you deserve this as punishment."
"Make her go away, Mon," he complains.
