So here I am, sat in a strangers bed unprotected, wondering how on earth I am going to make it anywhere in the world alive. Josh left about ten minutes ago, so that I could freshen up and put on some new clothes he got a pack member to buy from a nearby shop. I still haven't made a move. I'm in shock.

Why hasn't anyone tried to kill me yet? Where is Danny? Maybe this is a friendly pack. I'm still unsure and I am going to struggle to trust Josh, even if he does turn out to be good, but how do I know? How do I know that he’s not just waiting for Danny to come and finish me off? What if the shower is really acid that's going to burn me alive?! I suppose if he is working for my old pack, there will be nothing I can do about my future, as it’s in their hands so I might as well try.

Getting out of the bed, I grabbed a towel from the top of the drawers and shuffled into the bathroom. I put the towel next to the sink and slowly approached the shower. Reaching out with my right hand, I quickly grabbed the shower curtain and yanked it open, ready for it if anyone was hiding there. But it was empty. I turned to the taps and slowly turned them on, guessing a temperature setting and not touching the water. Picking up a bottle of shampoo, I edged it under the running water. Surely if they filled it with acid, the bottle would melt?

After waiting for 2 minutes, the bottle still hadn't melted, so I gently placed it to one side. As quickly as possible, I touched my index finger to the water and yanked it back, inspecting my finger for any acid damage. None. It’s safe, for now.

I undressed quickly and stepped into the shower before changing the temperature to suit what I wanted. After scrubbing my body multiple times, to try and get rid of the stench of Danny from the night before, I began to wash the dirt from my normally silky brown hair. I then got out of the shower and proceeded to dry every inch of my body and wrap the towel around my hair.

Clothes, clothes, clothes?... Damn! I left them in the other room! I thought. Peeking out of the door, I noticed that there was still no one in the bedroom, so I decided to sneak out and make a run for the clothes. Just as I picked them up and began to make my way back to the bathroom, the bedroom door opened and I froze.

"OH MY GOD! I AM SO SORRY!" Josh quickly turned around as I screamed and started fumbling with the clothes to put them on as fast as possible. "I didn't think you were getting changed still, I left you an hour ago and presumed you were finished when I didn't hear the shower running. I'm so, so sorry!"

"It’s okay err... Josh? I'm decent now..." Josh slowly turned around, relief clear on his face, which I presume was from me, not shouting at him for his jumping to conclusions. "I left the clothes out here and thought I was safe to sneak out and get them without taking the towel off my head again. I'm sorry; I should have just taken the towel off of my head."

"Let’s agree that we were both slightly in the wrong and I'll agree to knock in future, if you promise to only walk around naked in a locked bathroom. Deal?" I nodded my head and giggled. "Good. Once you are finished getting ready, myself and a few members of my pack wish to speak to you about the events leading up to and about yesterday. I'll be outside when you're ready." On that serious note, he left me to finish getting ready.

I quickly took my hair down from the towel and dried it with the towel for a few minutes. Looking around, I spotted a brush on top of some shelves. Not wanting to ask for help, I decided I would make use of my climbing skills. They aren’t very good; my climbing skills I mean, I should have known it wouldn't go well.

Reaching upwards, I grabbed a high shelf with both hands and started to climb higher with my feet. Just as I reached the top with my hands, I started to feel around to try to find the brush. Just as my hand felt something, the brush fell from the top of the shelf and landed on the floor. The shock of the surprisingly loud noise made me wobble slightly, but I managed to steady myself. Found it! I rolled my eyes at my clumsiness, but shrugged it off and got ready to climb back down.

"Are you okay?" I heard a voice from the doorway as the door opened once again. It was Josh again. This time, the shock knocked me off balance completely and I went tumbling to the ground. "I'm so sorry! Yet again." He laughed at that. "I've probably embarrassed you plenty today; I should really try to stop this shouldn't I? I just heard a bang, which I'm now guessing was the hairbrush and not you, but I got worried so I peeped in to see if you were okay and then, BANG! Now you're on the floor." He was definitely rambling on now, so I just laughed which caused him to blush. Guess it’s not just me that got embarrassed today.

Standing up, I ensured him that I was okay before quickly brushing my hair and then turning to him. "Ready!" I smiled and followed him out of the door.

Let’s hope that the rest of his pack are like him, he seems nice enough!
