I've seen this scene too many times before -- in video footages, newspaper photos, images posted in social media.  You can just feel the excitement.  News crew from various TV/radio stations have set up their cameras in strategic locations.  Journalists pried around with their press IDs and camera slung around their neck, waiting for what could be tomorrow's front page story.

"A sizeable crowd gathered in front of the Supreme Court building this morning, eagerly anticipating for the announcement of the 2018 Bar Exams." I overheard a young news reporter saying to the camera as I was about to enter the gate of the Supreme Court compound.

They said the results will be coming out around noon today.  Though they said the same thing yesterday... and the week before that.  The crowd started cheering whenever the front door of the main building opened, only to be disappointed when no one walked up to the rostrum that has been set up above the steps.  As the time inched closer to twelve, the crowd became restless.

What was I thinking that I decided to wait for the results here.  Sure it looked all fun and exciting... if you were not a bar taker and you were merely a spectator.  I could almost feel my heart pounding hard and my throat going dry.
