"I should've been easier on them" I said.

"I think we all would've reacted the same Patrick" Gerard said. I sighed slamming my head down on his desk "

"I'm a bad son" I said "I'm awful and they deserve better"

"Patrick, you deserve better" he said. I pulled my head up frowning at him "Look, this is your last week of high school ever. Make it count, and don't worry about your parents"

"You're right" I sighed "I'm just gonna go be with my friends, and my boyfriend, and be a kid for once"

"Good.  I'll see you at home" he said.

"Okay" I mumbled "Thank you for putting up with me" I said gently.

"I love you kid" he said.

"I love you too, dad" I smiled at him, then left.

"I shouldn't be so worried" I mumbled to Pete at his locker "I never cared about them before so why do I care now?" He laid his head on his locker, and stared at me.

"Everyone dreams of a happy family.  We're the unlucky ones who don't get that dream" he said gently.  "Besides whether you like it or not, they're your parents and you love them"

"Not as much as I love you" I said gently.

"You're cute" he said poking my nose.  "I feel the same way" I smiled a little.   He grabbed my wrist linking something around it.  I looked down at the cute little charm bracelet.  "We're graduating in a few days.  This is your present"

"It's so gorgeous" I said gently "Wow" I stared at the heart with his initials engraved.  "I don't have one-"

"Yes you do" He said holding out his wrist.  The same bracelet but with my initials on it.  I smiled.

"I love you" I sighed.  I kissed him not caring about everyone around us. He smiled on my lips, and the bell rang. "I'll see you after last period" I said gently. Our schedules didn't mesh until the end of the day. I leant up pecking his lips. He nodded as I walked away.

Brendon and I were antsy during last period. Our toes kept taping and our hands were drumming on the table. Andy had some huge news he wanted to share so we were a bit nervous. The bell rang so we booked it to Petes locker which tended to be the meet up spot. We made it before Pete did. He raised an eyebrow at us as he walked over.

"Did you get Andy's text? He has huge news apparently" I said. He nodded moving me so he could shove his bag in his locker. He stared at me "Hi babe how was class?" I asked kissing his cheek.

"Fine" he said. We all waited for Andy and Joe who finally showed up too late.

"Hey" Andy said quietly "So, big news"

"Yeah?" I asked. He smiled.

"Joe and I made out and now we're dating" he said.  I pulled my wallet out along with Brendon and Pete. Pete and Brendon both handed me ten dollars.

"Thank you" I said shoving the money into my wallet.

"You were betting on us!?" Joe asked.

"Yup, and I won" I said smiling.
