Their Guardian (AKN: Akatsuki No Yona) (HIATUS)

"Darkness has fallen upon the land.
The blood of the dragons will revive once again,
and the ancient pact will be kept.

When the four dragons are gathered,
the sword and shield which will protect the king shall awaken,
and the Red Dragon shall restore the dawn at last."

Yona, the daughter of the late king that was murdered, alongside her bodyguard and friend Hak, has ran away from the castle. They were then told a prophecy of the Red Dragon by a priest that once worked inside the palace. Together with the priest's apprentice Yoon, they traveled for months to gather the 4 dragons. The White Dragon, Ki Ja. The Blue Dragon, Shin Ah. The Green Dragon,Jae Ha and the Yellow Dragon, Zeno.

After gathering the four, they came back to the priest, seeking for an answer. However, the shield reminded them that there still remains missing pieces, the sword, and the shield. And have given them another prophecy.

"Her hair shines bright like gold
Her actions brave and bold
Shall she open the palm of her hands
Comes all that's good in all the lands
But with anger, sadness, pain, and lies
All her actions come with a price."

The others listened as the old man talk. " King Hiryuu and the dragons were protected by a person, the great griffin. Not a lot of villages or capitals have heard of the guardian. And slowly, it eventually became a myth. The guardian hasn't been spotted after King Hiryuu's death. However, there have been a  few rumors that proofs that the guardian is still here, on earth. I have a feeling that she might be on higher grounds, not too far from where we are."  He then excused himself, leaving to get his sleep.

"Higher grounds huh? Maybe we can try the Southern mountains. It has the highest altitude and I've heard a few rumors of a giant bird when I visited one of the villages near there. It's not too far from here too." Yoon suggested. Yona was keen on protecting the group and obtaining her 'shield' so she went along with whatever the others decided. " Don't worry princess, I will carry you if you grow tired," Kija smiled, worried since the trip would be long and tiring. The mountain is also extremely steep, making the journey dangerous. Yona smiled at him before she decided to sleep. Deep down, she felt an unsettling feeling, yet she doesn't know why or what has caused that.

- The Next Day -

All of them, bid their goodbyes, promising Ik Soo that they will come back safe and sound.

The journey went on for days, and it made them extremely exhausted. But luckily, a small village was located near the top, and they decided to find a place to stay, not knowing where else to go since the other paths were too dangerous. Yona also needed to rest, due to the injury she received on her ankle on their way there. "This guardian sure is difficult to find." Jae Ha chuckled. "Maybe it's purposefully made to be difficult. The guardian has been in hiding for a long time, there must be a reason why." Ki Ja responds. As they walked to the center of the village, an old woman approached them.

"My my, it's definitely not very common for people to come up here. May I ask what brings you here?" The woman asked, giving them a small, her eyes turning into crescent moons." We were traveling, but we needed to find shelter and came across the village. " Jae Ha covered for the group. They have suspicions over the villagers and decided it's best not to mention the real reason behind their visit, based on the hostility they experienced from the Blue and Green Dragon's village. The woman nodded before her eyes found the red spot on Yona's skirt. " Oh my! You're injured-" before she could utter another word, a small boy came running over.

" Chief! Saya-chan did it again!" The boy shouted. The once sweet smile was covered with a small scowl, and a tired sigh, her face scrunched up in frustration. She then instructed the little boy to stay with the guests in her place, before giving the group an apologetic look, before she ran off. The little boy approached them, " Let me show you where you can stay, I need to avoid Saya-chan anyways " he gave all of them a big smile, relieved that he avoided this so-called 'Saya-chan'. " Thank you. What's your name?" Yona crouched down. "I'm Yuuto! It's nice to meet you all!" he grinned. "Who's Saya-chan?" Ki Ja asked. "Ah.. Saya-chan.. is someone who often comes here to play.. But she always gets in trouble with the chief because she ca-" as if realizing he's made mistake, he slapped his mouth shut, before nervously asking the bunch to follow him, not uttering another word of the famous 'Saya-chan'.
