Chapter 8 - The Water Tribe

Author's POV

The next few days, the group continue their journey, this time heading for the water tribe. You and Zeno has gone back just like normal so things were going good. Unfortunately, the group, instead of being greeted by by a sunny, perfect weather, was greeted by the pouring rain. So the group tried to find a place to stay. Yoon knocked on one of the doors, asking for a room for the group, and luckily, the owner of the place was willing to let them stay for the day.

"The lush, green land of the water tribe. It's too bad. I was looking forward to seeing it but all I see is rain. " Yona said while looking out the window. You followed her gaze, watching as the rain continue to fall from the dull, grey sky. " Well.. the land of water, being drenched by the rain is somewhat.. elegant and beautiful " Jae Ha added. " we have to be careful. I've heard rumours about some unrest along the coast of the Water Tribe. " Yoon said, which made you raise a brow. " That's quite hard to imagine, I thought the water tribe's very peaceful.. and the people are very temperate." " Well, there are a lot of trading going on there, so it's bound to have a few disputes " Jae Ha informed. " Anyways, we should all get changed. We're all soaking wet, and we're going to get sick if we don't get changed " The crew agreed but since there's only one room to share, that means either the boys, or the girls had to change first. The boys told you and Yona to change first, walking out of the room to give you two some privacy. However, the green haired man just stood there, a smile on his face. " Get out or I'll kick you out of this place Jae Ha " you threatened. But before the green haired could say or do anything, Hak, Yoon and Ki Ja was already dragging him out by his collar. You and Yona then changed into white kimonos, before opening the door, only to hear Hak and Jae Ha talking about going somewhere. "Where are you going?" Yona asked the two. "A shop with girls" Jae Ha answered playfully with a smile. "See you later.." Yona said, it was clear that Yona felt disturbed by what Jae Ha said, but no matter how hard she tried to conceal it, it was very obvious to you. "I'm not going" Hak replied. You eyed him with a small grin. "Really?" Yona asked again. It was clear to you that the female does feel a sense of relief and hopefulness once Hak said that. You look at the green haired instead, concerned when for a second, his smile disappeared, face expressionless. "Then I'll go take a stroll by myself" Jae Ha said, saying goodbye. "Jae Ha!" You called out just before the male leaves. "Want me to come along?" You were honestly worried, knowing something wasn't quite right. But Jae Ha rejected. "Why? I didn't know your interests weren't in guys." He teased. "I can just wait outside" you offered, ignoring his comment. "And get drenched in the rain? No thank you, how can I let a lady not only wait for me, but suffer at the same time." Jae Ha then pat your head before going out with his umbrella. You continue looking at the door, 'I hope he's going to be okay..'

Jae Ha didn't return for a while, and somehow, you have a bad feeling on what made him go for so long. Just then, you heard Kija, mentioned a weird feeling coming off from Jae Ha's vibe. You grabbed your cloak, "I'm going out to fetch Jae Ha." You said. "Wait! I'm coming with you." Yona and the rest called out. So in the end, everyone ended up coming along. You let the dragons track Jae Ha's whereabouts, knowing they can find him quite fast from the bond. In the midst of looking, Shin Ah would help cover you from the rain, putting a hand over your covered head. You would voice out a protest, telling him he didn't have to do that, but the male insisted on doing so, making you blush slightly. 'I should calm down..' you pat your cheeks lightly before focusing back on finding Jae Ha, although your heart sill beats erratically.

"There!" Yoon suddenly shouted, pointing towards a figure, lying down in the middle of the streets. The group rushed over, and immediately called out his name, trying to shake him back into consciousness. Jae Ha opened his eyes, looking at the group before blacking out. You reached out to touch one side of his face, worry painted across your face.

Jae Ha was brought back and Yoon rushed you and Yona to change into new clothes, not wanting anymore member to fall ill, in which you two complied hesitantly. In the middle of changing, you and Yona could hear screams, coming from none other than Jae Ha. The screams were filled with so much pain that the two of you hurried up, rushing back due to concern. "What do you think it is Saya-chan?" Yona asked, eyebrows furrowed. You sighed, shaking your head. "I don't know.. but the boys might have an idea." Hak informed the both of you that Jae Ha might've been forced to take some kind of drug, so automatically, you , Yona and Yoon, who apparently has been waiting outside the room, asked if the three of you could go in. But Hak forbids, saying it was too dangerous for the three of you, closing the door before any of you could go in. 'But I can help him..' you thought, not liking the fact that someone you care about is in pain, and you can't do anything about it.

So you decided to try a trick you have been practicing.

You thought that healing people is useful, but it only works if you touch the person directly. So you trained to heal someone, at a distance. Although it was something completely new, and you don't know if it will work as effective , you wanted to give it a try. You tried it on the deer and a few other animals back in the village. It works like a protective coat or a bubble, that technically, can heal the person surrounded by it. It worked on minor wounds, so you hoped it can help Jae Ha deal with some of the pain. 'I can do this. I just need to concentrate' So you sat in front of the room, concentrating on transferring energy into the room, trying to find the male. Doing this drains you out so much faster than healing someone normally. Mental concentration, focusing on something and holding on to it as long as you can. Once you felt the the male's presence, you focused on surrounding him with the healing powers, fully concentrating on Jae Ha alone, ignoring the calls of Yona and Yoon. You knew it worked when you heard the screaming died down, and when pain started throbbing in your head, probably from the the power you gave out, and also the healing that occurred. You stopped once knowing that you can't help further, meeting face to face with 2 concerned figures. "Are you okay?" Yona asked, placing. Hand on your forehead. You smiled, "yeah, I'm okay. I was just thinking." You lied. Just then, Hak opened the door, "you guys can come in now." He opened it wider, and the three of you entered the room.
