Chapter 6 - Battle

You and the boys continued to slash between soldiers, upon soldiers. Knocking the troop down. Once the soldiers has been defeated, you and the troop moved forward, and that's when you saw a man, shouting at his soldier. You noticed from his clothing, that he was a higher figure of the Fire tribe. " Pull back your troops, General Soo Jin " Yona said. 'General Soo Jin?' You were quite shocked. He was the leader of the Fire Tribe, which is in an alliance with Kouka. Seems like the man has decided to break the treaty.

The General looked back, eyes widened when he noticed Yona and Hak. " So you were alive after all ". " even though you are one of the generals, betraying the king, and killing a man from your own troop.. " Yona said. The man smirked, " Heh, and why would I listen to a little girl's lecture? I'm just taking back what belongs to the Fire Kingdom, the real descendants of King Hiryuu. " " That is what it takes to be an honourable fire tribe citizen" he added.

You scoffed then, " Don't be so full of yourself " All the attention focused on you. " You don't even know the littlest bit of thing happening in your area. " Your village, was at the borders of the Fire Tribe, and you know the lack of attention and support it's getting, so this man was saying complete crap. " You're not, and you will never be fit to be king " you finished, glaring coldly at the man in front of you. You could see the anger fuming through his body " Kill them! kill them all! And give me back her head!" He pointed at you. You then stood back to back with the others, ready to tackle down the soldiers. " I wonder if we'll be able to get out of here alive-" Jae Ha said but Yoon interrupted. " don't say that, Jae Ha " he scolded. " What are you saying? This will be an easy victory " Ki Ja added, followed by the rest. " Just stand behind me if you're that scared creepy face " you joked. " Oh? How can I let a lady defend me? I'll defend you instead Sayaka-chan~" Jae Ha chuckled.

The moment Yona finished talking, the soldiers started attacking. You slashed through the soldiers. Yona ordered before hand, for all of you to hold back, not wanting to kill as many soldiers, and so you mainly knocked them unconscious or slash their thigh or feet, so that they wouldn't die, but won't be able to move for the moment. You saw Yoon standing in front of Yona and rushed to their side. " Don't worry , I'll protect the two of you " you reassured. "Sayaka, I can fight too " Yona argued. " I know you can, but with the lack of stamina princess, you would need someone to be there for you " you grinned. In the end, you ended up standing in front of Yoon, whereas Zeno stood in front of Yona with a shield. " Hm.. not too bad " Hak commented. " You too Thunder Beast " you smiled. Just then, you saw at the edge of your sight, Yona freezing while looking up. And so you followed her gaze, to find a man with expensive clothing. You also saw that Hak who was beside you froze. You looked at the man beside you, noticing his change in aura. ' This isn't good.. whoever he is, Hak is losing focus ' you thought. Yona then ordered to retreat, when she noticed the large amount of sky tribe members coming. You helped Kija and Hak, creating a path for the group to escape. The members ran forward, whilst you wait for the rest to go before looking back to see a soldier of the tribe stabbing their own leader. " Sayaka.." Shin Ah called out and pulled you to follow the group.

' You're not worthy of being a king after all.. even your own people betray you.. '

The bunch then decided to rest . You analysed the whole team, finding Hak, Ki Ja and Jae Ha to be the only one injured. Ki Ja was int he worst state, so you approached him first. You then rested your hand on the wound on his head. " H-huh? What are you doing ?? " Ki Ja panicked. You shushed him, before a small glow appeared from your hand. " What is - " Jae Ha said but Zeno stopped him. " Let her finish .. " Zeno muttered. The wounds then started to disappear slowly. ' What was that warmth ..' Ki Ja touched the area where you touched. " There we go. " you patted his head with a smile. " Wait, did you just heal him? " Jae Ha asked. " Huh? Didn't you know of my powers? " you looked at him with a questioning look. " Wait, you've always had that power and you never told us?!" Yoon shouted. " Again, I thought you knew of it " you replied straightforwardly, moving towards Jae Ha next, putting your hand on s cheek. " So healing.. don't you feel tired or drained out ? " Jae Ha asked. " Hmm? Not really. I'm okay. Unless I heal someone heavily injured " you replied. Jae Ha was already patched up. You could already feel the burning pain on the side of your waist. Which means that a wound was already forming. " Oh? Where's Hak? I'll heal him next " you looked around. " He went into that part of the woods " Yoon replied. You walked to the direction, only to be stopped by Zeno. " Wait, you don't have to do it.. " he looked at you sternly. " I have to , if not , what's the point of having this power?" You replied, pulling off your wrist from him. " I'm going to be okay " you assured the yellow dragon. You then left , walking into the woods. You spotted Hak, but he was with Yona, so you waited for the, to finish conversing before approaching him. " Hm.. Healing? " Hak looked at you. " Yeah. Do you want me to heal you, or you don't want it?" You smile teasingly. " I'm good. Save your energy " he swatted his hands. " Alright~ should've guessed it. Of course you don't want it since it's not from the princess~" you sing songed before taking a seat next to the figure who was glaring at you. " Who allowed you to sit next to me? " Hak asked. " No one. I wanted to . So I will . Let me rest a bit " you replied with a straight face. Hak sighed, not saying another word afterwards.

" Who was that guy? " you asked him, eyes still directed to the view ahead of you. Hak didn't respond for a while , "
Someone who was important" he replied simply. " You should be careful. Seems like you don't like him very much. " you added. Hak tensed slightly before relaxing , but not saying anything. You know he's putting thoughts into your words, so you just let him be. Your eyes closed as you then slowly fell asleep.

The moment you woke up, you were being carried in someone's arms. You looked up to see Shin Ah. " Oh? I must've fallen asleep. You can put me down Shin Ah" you smiled. " No.. you're .. hurt.. " he mumbled, loud enough for you to hear. Your eyes widened slightly, Shin Ah noticed your wound. You knew it wasn't because of his eyes, but because he's simply observant and sharp. " you hurt yourself.. when you heal others right? " he added. You grew silent for a while, not knowing exactly how to respond to that. "Shin Ah.. please don't tell anyone " you stared at him. " I just don't want others to worry. I'll tell once the time is right." Shin Ah stopped walking for a bit and looked down, nodding his head. He set you down before patting your head. " Just be careful " he whispered. You grinned and nod your head. " Now, let's go back to the camp " you said excitedly.
