Chapter 15 - When Trouble Hits

"Ships... I'm guessing they're merchant ships from Hiyou trading partner from Southern Kai"

"The number of ships is nothing to laugh about, huh?" Hak stared ahead, the ships now starting to become more visible. "Zeno, tell the Princess and the others." Hak looked over to Zeno. Zeno nod his head and turned to you. "Saya, are you coming?" You shook your head, "I'll stay here in case anything happens.". "No. You go with him." Hak interrupted. "What? Why? I can help you in case there's something wrong" You asked in protest. Hak pinched your cheeks, hard. "And what are you going to do here? You can't fly since it's in broad daylight." You slapped his hand away and rubbed the area that was throbbing from pain. You scowled at him, "You really did hit your head when you were a baby. I can fight with my sword." But Hak ignored you, as he continued looking at the boats. You stared at Shin Ah, hoping he would help you, but he just shook his head. You huffed in annoyance and decided to eventually go with Zeno.

You and Zeno ran, you two wanted to hurry and give the others the news. "Zeno, I think I saw someone the other day," you confessed. You felt bad keeping secrets, and Zeno was the one you trusted most. "Hm? Who?" he asked, slightly out of breath. "It was the-" you were stopped when you saw the group, together with a few foreign people, conversing with one another. You immediately got a bad feeling. You turned to the silent Zeno, and noticed that he was a little out of it. However, he snapped out of his trance fast. "Miss!!" he shouted to Yona. Everyone looked at the two of you. You and the guy with the long hair's eyes met. "You..." he mumbled softly. You gave him a tiny smile as before you walked to Yona. Thankfully, none of them noticed the small interaction. You didn't want to be rude to the man, but at the same time, you didn't want to create any misunderstanding. "Sayaka." Lili greeted. You returned the greeting before you gave her a hug. "It's nice to see you again Lady Lili~" Lili blushed but nodded her head in agreement.

"What about the sea?" Yoon interrupted. "Oh right. Shin Ah saw a ton of ships coming here," you explained. "What? Where are they coming from?" "We haven't gotten that far. But we think that it might be Hyou's trading partners. After all, he's quite influential in this area."

"Ships.. How unusual." Jae Ha said, deep in thought."Lili!" Yona called out, which brought everyone's attention to her. "Do you know a higher spot around here where I can see the sea?" "Yes.." "Show me the way!" Immediately afterward, both Yona and Lily ran. You followed suit, as you ran right behind them, followed by the rest of the group. Lili guided the group towards a tower. You were a little out of breath when you went up the stairs, your side was burning hot from the wound. "You okay?" Jae Ha asked, worried. "Yeah. Just a little tired." you smiled. "Do you want me to carry you?" Jae Ha gave you his famous flirty smile. "Nope." You rejected immediately. Jae Ha chuckled when he saw your face, void of any emotions.

When the group reached the top, they all were able to see the outline of the ships. "It's still quite far." "Why would they come here in the first place? Trading? The numbers are a little much for that." Yoon mumbled. "Are they perhaps trying to start a war?" The group was busy as they discussed the matter.

"We'll have to make them return home."

You turned to the boy with blonde hair. Everyone did the same, and everything went silent. "Yeah, I guess that makes sense." "That's pretty straightforward" "The nearby residents would be bothered by it too." You, Jae Ha and the stranger commented. " Wait, wait! How are you going to do that?" Lily looked at you, confused. "Well.. I haven't thought of it that far," you replied. "Lili. Don't worry about it." Yona reassured. "We'll figure things out. Lili, you should go somewhere safe and-" "No!!" You looked at Lili, a little surprised. "I also.. Came here to fight. I might not.. I have any strength, but the water tribe is my precious place. Let me fight with you!!"
