One week later

"Hey Adam," I yelled as I jumped behind him.

"Hi," he laughed as I feel in step with him.

"So how is your morning," I asked.

"Uh I had to wake up, so not that good. You?"

I laughed "It's been good, I'm sorry that you had to get up. But as a plus you get to see my lovely face!"

He scoffed "You know I got the looks of the family."

"Okay, fair, I guess that explains why I got all the talent," I joked.

I glanced over at him just in time to see him to roll his eyes.

"You've seemed happy lately, what's up," he asked. He had been asking me the same question for the past four days, and every time I would tell him that I was starting to feel more like myself.

That wasn't a complete lie, I was starting to feel more like myself. I just didn't want to tell him about my magic. He'd think I was crazy and drag me back to see the doctor that I saw when I woke up from my dream. "Still the exact same answer I gave you last time," I answered.

He shook his head "Yeah yeah, but you're just so happy."

I shrugged my shoulders "I don't know how else to word it, I just feel more like myself. And after you forget who you are, who your family is, who your friends are, this feels like a breath of fresh air. Thank you," I say as he opens the door for me.

"Well I'm glad about that, speaking of which, remind me that I need to bring you back to the doctors. We need to make sure you're doing okay."

I groaned "Adammmm."

He chuckled "I know I know, the doctor is a bad place. But we have to, for all we know the sudden happy is a sign that your brain is combusting and you're going to be in a happy brain dead state forever and ever."

"You have an over imagination," I laughed.

"And in our line of work I believe that's considered a good thing."

"That it is," as we walked further into the office I spotted Barney looking out of the corner of his eye at me "You know what, I have to go talk to a certain purple dinosaur. See ya!"

He looked over his shoulder at Barney and waved as I backtracked my way over to Barney.

"Good morning," He greeted as I got closer.

"Morning, but what do you want? You haven't talked to me, only glared holes into my back. What's up?"

"I uh I was just thinking of a way to apologize to you. You were right about how I could've helped you, about how I just ignored it. I'm really sorry that I said those things to your friend," he rambled out.

I took a deep breath "You're right, you were out of place and I'm glad that you can admit it. But I guess while I'm on the topic of apologizing, I guess I should apologize for what I said when I broke things off with us."

He sighed, I could tell that what I said still hurt him. "Well I guess that makes us even," he paused, debating his next words "maybe we could try to fix things?"

I smiled "I would love that. But do you think that's what you want? All the memories I have of you are from my dream and when we broke up. Do you think it's a good idea to get involved with someone like that? What if we just started becoming closer friends?"

"I- what ever you think is best, I'll do," he decided. You could tell from his voice, the way it sounded like a kid not being able to go to their best friends house, that's not what he wanted to do.

I nodded "I think this'll be good for us, taking it slow."

"Yeah, you're right. So am I allowed to take you to lunch?"

I smiled "Lunch sounds amazing."

He laughed "Wait, you think I was asking you? Oh no no no. I'm asking the wonderful dirt behind you."

I gasped and put a hand over my heart "Never in my life have I heard such hurtful things. And the fact that you think Gertrud is better than me, you are sadly mistaken."

He laughed and started to defend Gertrud, told me how amazing she was. I just rolled my eyes and explained to him how he was wrong.

The rest of the time until he needed to film was just filled with playful banter.
