It was now eight-thirty and both the boys and the girls have split up.
The boys, - which included, Kol, Elijah, Klaus, Stefan, Damon and Henrik - where at the Mikaelson Mansion, playing either pool, or video games, while talking a load of waffle and getting drunk.
The girls, - which included, Bonnie, Elena, Caroline, Rebekah, Rose and Katherine - where at the Gilbert house, having an old-fashioned, all girl sleepover. Painting nails, doing each others hairs, sharing stories - mostly scary ones as Elena's and Bonnie's reactions to the slightest sound whenever it goes quiet, is really amusing to the rest of the girls - making cocktails and dancing and singing like mad women to really loud music.
Both parties had agreed that there would be no talk about relationships and that tonight was just about having fun. But of course, with the help of alcohol, that agreement would soon be forgotten.
At the Gilbert house.
Although Elena and Katherine haven't had the best relationship, they were both trying to put their past behind them. At first, it was only because of Caroline and the smile she would give every time she would see them together, then as time went by, the twins found themselves growing closer. As the days passed, they would learn another thing about each other. They were complete opposites but they fit together. They balanced one another. Their relationship may not be 100% perfect or fix - as they still fought over the most stupidest things, which then turns really deep - they're on the road to recovery and both of them are thankful for it.
Currently, the twins are sitting one behind the other. Katherine at the back and styling Elena's hair into a fish-tale braid and Elena at the front painting Katherine's toe nails black with a firework-like-pattern in the middle. All the girls were talking about Rebekah's wedding dress that Caroline had designed and has almost finish making. They were also all in the same positions as Elena and Katherine. Caroline behind Rose and Rebekah behind Bonnie.
"Rebekah the dress looks beautiful, I don't think I have ever designed something so unique, I mean.." Caroline trailed off thinking about the dress, earning giggles from all the girls.
"Yeah Beks, I've seen the dress and the only thing I could say was 'wow'. It's so much better than the drawing." Rose added with a smirk. Caroline had also designed her wedding dress and she can honestly say that even though Rebekah's had a little bit more wow to it, she couldn't be jealous, as both dresses matched the different personalities.
"Well of course the dress looks better in person, I mean come on, Caroline was the one who made it. You all know how talented Care is." Katherine laughed, she would always brag about Caroline's talent to anyone who would listen. She was really proud of Caroline, she has come a long way from the girl who let her insecurities over power her, and Katherine couldn't think of anyone better to look up too.
"This isn't fair. Everyone here has seen my wedding dress but me." Rebekah pouted and the rest of them started to laugh uncontrollably over the childish look on her face.
Once they had calmed down a bit, Bonnie commented, "Bekah you know Caroline and her rules. She's a little control freak so you don't have worry about any doubts, your dress will be perfect."
"OH MY GOD, I'M GETTING MARRIED!" Rebekah suddenly cried.
"OH MY GOD, YOU'RE GOING TO BECOME MY SISTER!" Caroline mocked.
Rebekah let out a small giggle, as she spoke a dreamy look invaded her eyes. "I still can't believe that Stefan and I are getting married. Married. Because we're in love. Because he loves me. He really loves me." A silent tear fell down her cheek, and the girls shared a look before all gathering round to comfort her.
