"Are you... Akita... Mister?" A melodious voice echoed. It captivated me. It was so hazardously addicting to my ears. I smirked at the girl's words, arising from the ledge. "Who the hell else would I be, Idiot?" She grew red in the cheeks. I filed my head with my left hand, gaping once more. "God damn, you woke me from my nap, dumbass.." I leered towards her. She glimpsed back at me tensely. I could certainly tell she was uncomfortable. "U-uh... S-sorry to wake y-you, Mister... But... Yamori.. sent me? F-for training..? I-I'm Mira Kagetane.." The girl folded her hands, stuttering over her lips as they quivered with embarrassment. Once hearing that foul, and vulgar name.. I instantly grew frustrated. I remembered everything. The torture. The pain. The blood. The marks. The fear. The operations. The corruption. The cuts, and the burns. The wails and groans and outcries and stitches and kicks and thrashings and starvation... The sins I've committed, the innocent people I have taken from families. The regrets... And the tears I have shed. "S-sir? Hello? SIR?!" I chimed back into control and looked at the strange, yet beautiful girl. She wore a worried expression. "Pfft, what's your rank, brat.."

She tilted her head. "R-rank? W-what do you mean rank?" Then, looked at me confused. Does this idiot really not catch the drift? I scowled at her, progressively growing hungrier. "Your ghoul rank, stupid." The girl then started to back away from me, picking up a briefcase that was behind her. At this moment, I realized this girl wasn't as suspected. She was human. Better yet, she was a CCG agent.

She stood, quinque in hands, trembling. I released my kagune, A black bikaku. My eyes also shifted; one black and red, the other black and blue. I walked towards her.

"S-stay back! Y-you monster!" Her pleads for me to stand away from her only made me want her more. I wanted to feel her blood rush through me. I wanted every part of her to fear me, and obey my every order. Training will surely pay off.

I glared at her. She looked startled, yet she still stood her ground. "I'm w-warning you! I w-will kill you!" I tittered at her remarks. As I returned back, she looked at me even more frightful. "Stop trying to act tough, when you know you are not. You are obviously shaking right now, every part of you is. I can see in your eyes that you are afraid of me, and that is how it should be. Trying to counter your foolish deeds with killing me will surely never work." Her eyes widened. She was speechless. "Your attempts will only result in your pain, and my pleasure. Surely, such a pretty girl can't be that ignorant to try and brawl with me." I cracked my knuckles. "Allow me to re-introduce myself to you. I am the Binge Eater from the 23rd ward. I have killed over 300 people. Seeing the situation you are in right now, you are completely defenseless. Matter of fact, Let's play a game." She shook vigorously. And then she answered my animadversions. "G-game?" I simpered. "Yes, a game of life or mortality. I ask you questions. If you get three wrong, you vanish. You get three right... You remain. Let's hope to make my kill count 301 today, brat."

Mira then grounded her quinque, ready to play my perplexing game.

"First question... Since you know I am the binge eater... What is my name?" She took a second to think, and then looked towards me. "I-Insidious..?" I was surprised. She had gotten it right. Maybe she isn't so simple-minded after all...

"Correct... Next enigma. For how long can a ghoul live after eating one single body?" I knew I'd get her on this one. She looked baffled, and then spoke. "A month.. I think..." Did she really just get this correct again? Shit! If she wins, I won't be able to dine on her!

"Tch, Right again, smartass. Last question.. Why are you so god damn annoying?" This one was a trick question. I'd surely get her on this one. "Maybe because you are so scary!? You freak! I'm not the bothersome one!" I grinned broadly, causing her to pout slightly.

"Well well, guess who got the question incorrect?" She grew wide-eyed, her lip quivering. I migrated towards her, unsheathing the stiletto from my back pocket. I held it at my side, beaming widely. "What are you doing..?" She sought me. Mira backed up step by step as I grew closer; vacillating back into the concrete mainstay. I stayed entirely speechless, towering over her frightened self. I bowed down, whispering in her ear. "Tomorrow, my apartment. Don't come, and you're dead. Don't try to tell anyone about what happened here, either. Trust me, sweetie, if you don't want your mouth sewed fully shut, I would stay as sealed as a letter." After finishing my sentence, I brought my hand down from behind my back, slitting her wrist about half a centimeter inward. She stayed silent, nodding her head in agreement. "Farewell, kid." I beamed.
