As the sunlight began to shine through my black curtains, and the usual sound of crowds walking was heard, I Rubbed my eyes, slowly rising to a sit in my bed. I was very warm, My legs underneath my comforter. Yawning, I glanced to my left, noticing Mira laying next to me. My eyes widened, and I felt my face get red. She lay, snoring, and huddled under the covers. As I stretched, the muscles of my back tensed, and I arose from the bed. My stomach growled. I opened my bedroom's door, walking in my kitchen. Knowing I had a human guest in the household currently, I decided to make something that she could eat. Can't let the brat starve..

I opened the top left cupboard, pulling out a box of pancake mix. This bitch better like pancakes..

Grabbing a bowl, I placed it on the table. I read the instructions on the back of the mix box.

Ingredients:

1-6 Pancakes:

1/2 cup Boyer's Baking Pancake Mix

1/3 cup Water

Once finishing reading, I filled a measuring cup up with the mix, and poured it into the bowl. Then, I filled the 1/3 cup measurement up with water; pouring it in. I then opened my cutlery drawer, grabbing a whisk. With the swirling motion of my hands, I mixed together the odd human food called a pancake.

After placing a frying pan on my Samsung stove, I turned the gas up to medium-low, and poured a little bit of the mixture in. It sizzled loudly, and after a while, it started to bubble.

I flipped the pancake over, revealing a golden-brown color coating the bottom of the pancake. After a few more minutes, I flipped the first pancake onto a plate.

I repeated the pour-flip-flip-place process a few more times, until I had 6 pancakes on the porcelain plate. I brought the plate to my dinner table; a granite topped bar style stool table, and plopped it in the center.

I then went over to my drinkware cupboard, taking out a glass and a coffee cup. I opened the refrigerator, taking out a carton of Minute-Maid Orange juice. I poured it into the glass, placing that on the table as well.

For me, I had to make a coffee. I couldn't drink or eat anything humans could, which is a total bummer. I turned the coffee pot on after putting ground beans in it, and waited.

I suddenly heard my bedroom door open. It was Mira, messy hair and all. "Morning, brat." I snickered. She yawned. "Good morning.." I motioned her towards the table, as she sat in the third chair down. "Whose pancakes are those..?" She questioned. With a sigh, I responded. "Your's, stupid. Why else would they be there? Hurry up and eat them before they get cold. I also got you some Orange juice so you won't be thirsty." She jumped with glee, and placed 3 pancakes onto the clean plate next to her. However, she seemed to be searching for something with her eyes.

"Something wrong?" I asked her. She glanced up at me. "E-erm.. Where's the syrup?" I sighed, and opened the spin cabinet, in my hand, a bottle of syrup. I placed it on the counter by her plate of food. "Thank you, Akita!" She said excitedly.

My coffee pot buzzed, alerting me that my coffee was done. I poured a cup for myself, and sat in the chair horizontal to her. I sipped my coffee as I watched her scarf down the pancakes I had made.

"If you have any plans today, It's best you go do them. Better yet, try to find your keycard so I'm not stuck with you the rest of my life." I demanded. She giggled, her smile beaming at me. "Well, That w-was one of my plans..I have to be at work for 10:00 A.M... What time is it now..?" I looked at the clock. "9:32." Her eyes grew wide, and she quickly pushed herself up from the chair, racing to my bathroom. "What the fuck are you doing running through my house?! You'll scuff the flooring!" I echoed. She was in the now locked bathroom. "I need to shower!" She yelled, loud enough so I can hear her. Before getting a chance to speak, I heard the water hit the shower's floor, and a curtain swipe across. She was already in the shower.

(Mira's POV)

The warm water felt so nice on my skin, Considering I haven't showered in three days.. I grabbed a box of bar soap, and opened it. It smelled like lavender.. Wait.. Did Akita use lavender soap?! Hehe, Oh, forget that! I rubbed the soap on my body until there were soapy suds all over, and I then rinsed off. Afterwards, I grabbed his shampoo and rubbed it through my hair.
