Chapter 20

Dumaan ang mga araw. At nakapag-fourth quarter exams na namin. Tapos na ang mga clearance and school events. March 14, 2015. Last day of school. Pumunta kaming lahat sa Kyoi Inc. Pumasok kami sa lobby ng building as if nothing happened. "Good day Sir, how may I help you?" sabi ng attendant sa front desk. "I have an appointment with Iñigo Zenith," I said. "And who am I addressing it to?" sabi ng attendant. Teka, wrong grammar! NEVERMIND. "Cody De Roxas," I said. She started typing. At sumagot, "Oh Mr. De Roxas, Sir Zenith has been expecting you earlier. You may proceed to his office, thank you." Pumunta kami sa elevator looking feisty at the different guards walking and swarming all around the lobby.

Top floor. Office ni Iñigo Zenith. Pagkakatok ko ay umimik siya, "Come in, I've been expecting you earlier." I spoke upon opening, "Um, no thanks." Pagkaikot ni Iñigo Zenith sa chair niya ay umimik siya, "I knew you'd say no." At pagkaharap sa amin ni Iñigo Zenith ay kakaiba siya the last time I saw him. Exposed veins, white spiky hair, bewildered manner. It's Insane Zenith, I guess.

"Tsk. Tsk. Cody, Cody, Cody, you shouldn't have said no," Insane said, "You know the world is at stake here, right? Guess I would have to do it the hard way." Biglang nakakarinig ako ng footsteps, mga fifty feet per second. Umimik si Chase, "Cody, guys, I'll deal with this one. Tapusin niyo na ang Experiment C." I walked off saying to Chase, "Mind breaking his bones?" Chase replied, "I've already cursed his heart." Lumabas na kami at hinarap ang mga guards.

*Chase's POV*

"Pity. You had to stay when you know Cody's stronger than you," the freak said. "Cody may be stronger than I am. But I know. Whatever I'm gonna do to you right now. It's gonna make him proud," I replied with fierce eyes. Biglang labas ng dalawang orbs sa kamay. Nang may sumugod sa pinto. A werewolf. Oh wait, it's Klein. "You have disgraced our family, Iñigo!" sabi ni Klein. Sumagot si Insane, "Disgraced, Klein? Can't you see? We all have to make sacrifices in life in order to make things better." Dumipensa si Klein, "Make things better or make things worse?"

"Puppet Axe!" command ni Insane sabay labas ng life-size puppet holding an axe. Kinokontrol ni Insane ang puppet thus swinging its axe endlessly at us. "Nexus Apocalypse!" I slammed one of the orbs unto the ground. Nag-crack ang orb. Biglang may black twister na lumabas sa orb at sinugod ang puppet.

Umimik ulit si Insane, "Puppet Knight!" lumabas naman ang isa pang puppet at tinutukan ako ng espada. Biglang sinalag ni Chase ang sword sabay command, "Crush Claw!" kinalmot ni Klein ang espada slashing it to bits sabay kalmot ang puppet knight using its other claw. "Mirage Dragon! SUMMON!" Hinagis ko ang isa ko pang orb sa twister at inabsorb ng orb ang twister.

Sinugod ako ng puppet axe pero tumalsik lang ito. Lumabas out of thin air ang summoned beast ko. Isang dragon of transparent skin and diamond protection. I rode onto the dragon commanding, "Heavenblitz!" nagbuga ang dragon ko ng white burning beam sa puppet axe. At tinamaan ang puppet axe into mere ashes.
