"You are now the new dungeon keeper!" She says echoing all through the cave.
Dungeon keeper? Does that mean- Oh no. I see a mob of goblins rushing downstairs and towards me.
"Heel!" She says, stopping the goblins.
"This here is Hiroki Aito, your new dungeon keeper."
The goblins look shocked and started gathering and whispering.... most probably about me.
"Now, now, go upstairs, you can play with him later." She says shooing them away.
Play? What does she mean by that? Also I thought that this was a cleared dungeon.
"I thought this was a cleared dungeon with... no monsters in it?"
"Don't be silly, there's no such thing as a cleared dungeon."
"...Really?"
Is it not possible to successfully clear a dungeon? Is she just messing with me?
"This dungeon is divided into 5 floors. Each being more dangerous than the last." She says.
Five floors. A novice adventurer would think that would be a lot to handle but it actually is pretty small for a dungeon. Some dungeons sometimes have up to 100 floors.
"But for business purposes the third, fourth and fifth floor have to be bought."
I have to buy the upper floors in my own dungeon? That's just a low blow, right there.
"I'm sure you are aware of the currency system around here."
"Yeah, of course."
