Volume 2 Prologue: Unexpectedly Cleaning Up With The Princess And Her Advisor

So.... I'm currently cleaning the dungeon with royalty. Nothing to be worried about. Well, the goblins have recovered and now they obey my every command. Some goblins left the dungeon and Ack, their former leader is still reluctant. Oh well, I still have 120 goblins. I can make good use of them. Let's see, I currently have 2 floors, a few crystals and ores to sell or create something. I wonder if those bandits had a few valuable items. Nozomi did say I'm allowed to take the items of intruders and they were horrible people to begin with so consider this karma.

"Aito-san, what're you doing?" Nozomi says while sweeping the floor.

"Seeing if those bandits I captured have any valuable items." I say.

"Woah, first you defeated a bunch of goblins and now you captured some evil bandits, way to go Aito-san." Nozomi says while giving me a thumbs up.

"Yeah, don't slack off now." I say while heading to the bandits.

Now, what kind of approach should I take if their awake? The bandits are tied up with rope against a boulder. Should I be a kind person or a straight up jerk? Well, depends on how they treat me.

"Answer me!"

Hmm? What was that?

I hear a voice coming from the room where the bandits are kept. It wasn't the bandits. It was a girl's voice. Wait is that...

"Tell me who sent you to do this!"

"Piss off, bitch!"

Mizuha?

"Ough!"

"How do you like it now?" Mizuha says after punching the bandit leader in the face.

It seems that only he is awake for now. Maybe I should step in.

"Tell me right now or-"

"Hey..."

"Hiroki-san!?"

Was this the right call? I don't know but let's just roll with it.

"Hey, you should tell your woman to control herself." The leader says, smirking.

"Why you-!"

I stop her before she proves his point right.

"Now, I suggest you tell her what she wants before things get messy." I say kindly.

"Oh really, you beat me once and now you're cocky, huh?" He says.

Eeh, this guy is really irritating to deal with.

"You just caught us by surprise so don't think so high of yourself, you son of a-"

*Shik!*

"Argh!? Hrgh!"

"Sorry, I did it unconsciously." I say, most probably with a terrifying look on my face.

I stabbed him in the right shoulder with my knife. He deserved it anyway.

"You little..!"

"You mind telling us now?" I say, twisting the knife a little.

"I c-can't say... anything." He says grunting in pain.

This guy is hopeless. Oh well, let's do what I originally came here to do.

"Wh-what are you..."

"I'm taking your items."

"What? Y-you can't do that!"

"You trespassed in my dungeon so I'm allowed to do this."

I reach into his pockets and his other teammates' pockets and take out what's in there.

Well, it's not the worst loot I can find. Let's see, I can give their weapons to the goblins and in total they have 53 Bronze coins and 26 Cobalt coins.

*Shirk!*

"Aaargghh!"

I yank the knife out of his shoulder and he lets out a huge scream.

"Ergh! He's going to kill you. It won't be long now..."

"Who's he?" I question him.

"Someone with a lot more power than you think."

"Hrrgh, who is he?!" Mizuha says while yanking the collar of his shirt

"Heh, go to hell..." He says then faints.

Wow, he fainted. I thought he was stronger than that.

I then proceeded to heal his wound with my magic. I wouldn't want him dying on me.

"I apologize for my rude behavior, Hiroki-san." She says while bowing her head.

"It's okay, I know you did that because you wanted to protect the princess, right?" I say.
"Yes, the princess has been my friend for a very long time."

"I see, there's nothing wrong then. You were just trying to protect your friend. There's nothing wrong with that." I say out of concern.

"Thank you for understanding."

So this is how Mizuha is like. She can be a bit scary at times but she has good intentions.

"Mizuha?"

"Princess?!"

Princess Nakano enters the room with a confused look on her face.

"I heard screams, what's going on here?" She says.

"Princess, don't worry. We were just extracting information out of these scumbags." Mizuha explains.

Wow, she can be really harsh at times.

"Are they alright?" She asks.

"It's okay, they're just fine." I say.

"Hiroki-san healed that person up with his magic." Mizuha says.

"Is that so?"

You know looking at them, they have pretty decent stats. They just don't have the equipment to back it up. Wait, I just thought of a great idea!

"Hey, can you guys come with me for a while?"

"What for, Hiroki-san?" Nakano says.

"Because I'm going to make you guys your very own weapons."
