Walking from one store to another, Ashton and I childishly goof off together. This is probably the first time since we've gotten here that I've been able to spend time with him, and I'm loving every second of it. Reaching a break in the stretch of buildings, we see the London Eye. Exchanging a mischievous look, we walk towards the large ferris wheel.
The line was surprisingly short considering the sunset was at it's prettiest point. After a short ten minute wait we get our own cabin.
"Neither of you are scared of heights, right?" The worker asks.
"Nope." We say simultaneously.
"Just checking." The man says before closing the door.
We sit down as the wheel starts to turn, looking out the windows.
"So, have you enjoyed the trip?" Ashton asks, snaking his arm around my shoulders.
"Yes, it's been really fun. Is it like this every time you leave?"
"Most of the time," He nods, "except we don't normally have this much rehearsing. It's normally our show so we run through it a time or two then wing the rest."
"I see." I lean my head on his shoulder, hesitating, "Do you ever think you'll have your own tour like this?"
He's quiet for a moment, staring out across the fully visible city. "I honestly don't know. I mean, I hope so. I just take it one day at a time. If I don't expect anything, then I'll be grateful for everything."
"I think you will." I look up at him, smiling.
He laughs a little, pecking my forehead. "Thanks, babe."
When we get off the ferris wheel, we make our way back towards the hotel. It was getting dark pretty fast and we both were ready to lay down. As we approached the doors to the lobby, we noticed a small group of girl standing outside. Naturally, our connected hands fell to our sides. At the sight of Ashton the girls hands lifted to their mouth. It's funny watching them react like Ashton's some sex god when he's really just a big dork.
"Hello," Ashton waved, coming to a stop in front of them, "judging by the merch you're wearing, you probably know who I am." He smirks, his eyes scanning over their 5sos t-shirts and bracelets.
"Guys," one of them whispers, "Ashton Irwin is talking to us. I can't."
That comment made a few of them squeal, a sound so odd only a teenage girl and a pig can make.
Ashton scratched the back of his neck as they had their fangirl moment, awkwardly looking back at me. "So.. Do you want me to sign something? Or take a few pictures?"
"Yes please!" "That'd be great!" "Oh my god you're Ashton Irwin!" They all chatter quickly.
"Alright," Ashton nods before flashing his dimples, "who's first?"
After taking multiple pictures and chatting with the girls, we say good night and make our way up to our floor. Once we're standing outside my room, we decide to watch a movie.
Unlocking the door, I throw my stuff awkwardly in the closet. "So what do you want to watch?"
"I don't know. How about something funny?" Ashton comments, taking his shoes off and lounging on my bed.
"Hmm.." I hum, scrolling through the movies on the tv. "Transformers 2?"
"That's not that funny."
"I think it is. That little robot is just hilarious."
"Jaylin, that 'little robot' starts off as a decepticon. He is in no way funny or nice."
I giggle at his seriousness. "Oh okay, so are we going to watch it? Or no?"
He sighs, "Turn it on, then get over here. I need a cuddle buddy."
