Dakota
The drive to Eden Prairie, Minnesota was nineteen hours long. It was 1 o'clock Wednesday morning when we had pulled up at a hotel. We checked in and walked to our room. I sat on the bed while Shayne took a shower and I let my mind wander.
24 years! I can't get that back, but I can look forward to my future. I'll have a family who loves me...hopefully. And maybe one day I'll have my own family. I will be happy. Finally happy.
I looked up when Shayne walked into the room; a towel wrapped around his waist and his muscular arms flexed with every simple movement. His broad shoulders glistening as water droplets fell to the floor. My eyes roamed over his back and landed on his ass. It was perfect and round--
D! Snap out of it! My conscious screamed at me.
But I don't want to.
Shayne pulled the towel away and let it fall to the floor. He was wearing boxers, sadly. He turned towards me, and his mouth began moving but I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying. My eyes were fixated on his rock-solid abs and the tattoos on his chest and arms. At the bottom of his right arm was half a face and the other half was a stairway that led up to an angry lion with yellow eyes, above the lion was a large clock, on the left side of the clock was a shadow of a soldier watching a stone building fall, to the right side of the fallen building were four planes flying through a lightning storm and that tattoo blended into the blue eyed tiger that sat on Shayne's shoulder.
The tattoo on Shayne's chest was a blue-eyed lion roaring fiercely, his mane flowing onto Shayne's left shoulder. Shayne walked closer to me, and stopped a few inches away, any closer and his dick would have been in my face. I looked up at him and he smirked. "What are you thinking about?" I met his gaze.
How badly I want to lick every single one of those tattoos. I thought.
"Nothing. I'm just—I hope I get to meet my real family soon. I hope they like me." I breathed. Shayne stood in front of me, and I looked up at him with a smile.
"I have no doubt that they'll love you." Shayne kissed me. Wrapping my arms around his neck I pulled him closer to me, both of us falling onto the bed, neither of us breaking the kiss. Shayne pulled away and stared into my eyes.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Shayne breathed.
"More than sure." I whispered. Shayne kissed me again and neither of us went to bed that night.

Later that morning, Shayne and I took a trip into town and stopped at this breakfast place called Brazin Breakfast House. The food here was supposed to be very good says a commercial I saw on tv at the hotel this morning. I sat at a high table and sipped on my lemonade while Shayne got our food. Kicking my feet mindlessly, I hummed the song that was playing over the speakers.
Shayne appeared with our food and my mouth watered at the sight of my breakfast. Strawberry glazed French toast, cheesy scrambled eggs and bacon. I took a bite of my bacon and moaned as the honey glazed meat hit my tongue.
"Good?" Shayne laughed.
"Very." I smiled while taking another bite of my bacon. Shayne and I talked for about five minutes when the front door of the restaurant opened, and an older couple walked in.
"I just don't know what else to do Georgia, the anniversary party is in two days, and we still don't have a gift for Angela and Clarence."
I turned in my seat and saw an older man and woman walking hand in hand into the restaurant. They stood at the counter waiting to order. I turned back to Shayne who was watching me. I smiled and continued eating but still listened to the older couple.
