(Phana's POV)
He doesn't cry for long, thankfully. After calming down, he wipes his cheeks but he still pouts.
I thought I'd face some deadly spells from people around us when they saw Yo cried. Though it's the first day of the new semester, medicine students have classes since early morning and there are some other students walking around. They must be thinking that I'm bullying the new student after seeing Yo crying in front of me.
He doesn't move, looking down at the ground as he continues pouting. Err... now what? I know that I teased and flirted with him earlier, but after he burst into tears, I gave up. I have never seen someone crying in front of me before. Really.
Erebus Clan members are not people who easily cry, including Park and Pring. My bestfriends, Beam and Kit, are not the type of people who will shed tears either. So, this is basically the first time I have seen someone crying in front of me as I can remember.
Well, maybe it's not the first time I have seen people crying. But I am pretty sure this is the first time anyone ever cried because of me.
I am speechless. What do people do when someone cried?
I scratch my hair a few times then try to talk to him, "Umm... nong Yo, I--" Before I can finish my sentence, he starts walking towards the canteen. That's definitely not where his friends are.
He walks faster when I try to catch up with him, then I run past him to block his way. "Hey, let me take you to your friends. I know where they are."
I can hear crickets in the background. No answer from him. This is even harder than hitting on a girl!
He is looking towards something, so I turn my face to see what it is. Oh, a stall for drinks. Is he thirsty? I know that he won't answer my question anyway so I point my finger to where he is looking at. He finally looks up to me, then nods while still pouting. I walk towards the stall then he follows me.
We still have around ten minutes before they move to the next faculty, so I guess it's okay if I let him stay here for a while. After ordering his drink (by pointing his finger at the picture on the menu), he looks confused while searching for something in his pocket. Ah, I bet he didn't bring his wallet.
I am a gentleman so I should be paying. It's just a drink after all. But, this boy just goes away after canceling his order. He walks fast but I refrain myself from following him, because I need to take these first.
"No, ma'am. We don't cancel the order. Two cups of pink milk, please." I say to the seller. While waiting for the drinks, I keep my eyes on Yo. He is not too far, I can fly with magic to catch up.
After the drinks are ready, I take them then fly as fast as I can.
(Wayo's POV)
How silly. I forgot that I put my wallet on my bed. I was too excited this morning to the point I forgot to put my wallet in my pocket. I am walking to somewhere I don't know in hope I can meet any of the witches but no luck.
I am already tired. Faking a personality is not as easy as I thought it'd be. No matter how pissed I am at P'Park and P'Pha, finally I have lost my energy to act tough. Talking to strangers is tiring. I couldn't even find the strength to say what I wanted to buy to the auntie earlier. Sigh. I continue walking.
