A/N: Simultaneous double update!
Actually, I wrote Chapter 47 too long and decided to break it into Chapter 47 and Chapter 48.This is the second update today. Read Chapter 47 first, if you haven't.
------------------------------
(Wayo's POV)
Now, it's time to go to the city. I really should hurry or they will run out of their red velvet. It's a really popular cake right now in this land and I want to try it. Well, I love sweets.
I take out my phone to see if there's any messages or calls. It turns out my phone is in silent mode and there are messages from P'Pha.
P'Pha: "How was your class today, baby?"
P'Pha: "Have you had lunch?"
P'Pha: "Did anyone stare at you? Tell me their name and major and I'll teach them a lesson."
P'Pha: "Are you okay? Why aren't you replying? If you have read my messages, reply to me :)"
P'Pha: "What are you going to do today? I am still in the lab and I think it will be until the evening or even night. It's really tiring. I really want to open a restaurant and stop studying about medicine. That way, I can spend all my time with you."
He is so funny sometimes. I answer all his questions in one message and tell him that I am going to the city to eat cakes.
It's been quite a while after I sent the message but he hasn't replied to me. He must be busy in the lab. I don't even know why I should wait for his permission. Let's just go, then.
Standing in an open field in front of my dorm, I make a white magic circle in front of me. "Here, I open the gate to Valhalla."
I change my element to earth. The circle grows bigger and shines brighter, then changes color from white into yellow. "I summon thee: Byakko!"
A loud roar echoes through the field as the lights form a huge tiger. After the lights fade, the magic circle slowly disappears. I have finished summoning Byakko and it seems he knows why I can summon him.
"Hello, little one. We meet again." He sends me a telepathy.
I hug his giant paw. "Hello, Byakko. It's been a while."
"How can I help you?"
"Can you take me to the city?" I look up to him while still hugging his paw.
Byakko heaves a sigh, then replies to me. "I guess being a taxi will forever be my job, huh? Let's go. I will take you there."
(Khamnan's POV)
I admit that I am creepy, but there's nothing that I can do to relieve this feeling. I miss him so much. Though Phana has a point that Wayo might want to know who I am, it's still too early and sudden. I don't want to startle him with the fact that I am his biological father. I want to get closer to him first so he will at least think of me as a good person.
It's not my fault that we are separated, I know that. It's because I was under the dark clan master's spell. But this happened because I couldn't win against Erebus that time. If I could win, I would have been able to live with Wayo and raise him myself.
I am currently in front of the dorm of faculty of arts, looking at Wayo. It looks like he is going somewhere with Byakko. I should say that I am amazed. Byakko is a really picky noble demon. Even if someone can summon him, he will reject the summoner if he doesn't like them.
