The weekend was here and Alex and Lucas got a break from their normal duties. They planned to go to the beach to surf, and I was going to tag along.
I had packed and everything was ready to go. We were taking the family BMW X5 and Alex got to drive it. Actually, Lucas and Alex wrestled for it, but Alex won. The two piled their belongings into the back along with the surf boards. Lucas got the shotgun seat, but he promised I'll get it on the way back. We left at noon.
The ride was roughly two hours long. We made many pit stops then and there. When we finally arrived, and unpacked at the Inn it was around two thirty. Alex and Lucas shared a room while I got my own.
The room was overlooking the Huntington Beach; a very beautiful sight. I heard a knock on my door and found a shirtless Lucas standing there. He had his surf board in one hand and as goofy expression on his face.
I couldn't help but smiled. "How can I help you?"
"We're heading down to the beach." Lucas said flipping his messy hair. Are you coming or do you need a couple minutes?"
"Give me two minutes." I said, "I need to change."
"Meet you at the car." Without another word he turned away.
I tucked my sunscreen, towel, wallet and some makeup into my bag. I slipped into my black bikini and put on a bright loose tank top and short shorts over it. Today my hair fell in glossy waves. I had a pair of silver flip flops on. My makeup didn't take me that long. I just needed to brush some bronzer on.
Alex and Lucas were both leaning against the car when I arrived.
"If we hurry, I bet we can still catch some good waves." Lucas said.
"Hey Adrianna," Alex said, "All done?"
"Yeah, I'm done." I replied and got into the rear seat.
The beach was only a couple minutes away. The sun was still shining brightly overhead. Like always the beach was crowded with people of all ages. Some were tanning, while others were just playing around.
Alex and Lucas went on their way to catch the waves while I sat down on my towel. I took my flip flops off and the sand felt hot under my feet. Applying on the sunscreen I put on my Prada oversized sunglasses. The air smelt salty, just the way I remembered it. I closed my eyes to tan in the beautiful weather, then a shadow lingered over me.
"Hey sexy," A man's voice said, "Want to play?"
I opened my eyes. A guy stood over me. He had short spiked blond hair and a stupid grin on his face. He also has abs, but not nearly as good as the ones as others had.
"Go away." I didn't want to waste my time with annoying brats.
"Don't be rude. My name is Mike." He said, "My friends want you to play."
I glanced over. A group of four other guys some was standing and some sitting where sneering at us.
"I don't want to." I said, "Go away."
He grabbed me by the wrist and held on hard.
"Let go you ass." I shouted. Few people seemed to notice, but none cared.
"Don't be such a bitch." Mike said, "You should be honoured that we want to be with you."
"Stop that." A new voice interrupted. We turned. Lucas was standing there with two drinks in his hand.
"Who are you?" Mike questioned.
"Why don't you get away from her." It wasn't a question; more like a command.
