I should have known this was going to happen. The moment I start thinking about the snake, he pulls me back into whatever place it is that I'm in.

The mirrored floor is once again working as I spy myself in the corner of my eye, in the same flowy white dress and flowers I was in previously.

Sighing, I kneel to the ground while rolling my eyes.

"Alright, I'm here, what do you want Nicoli?" My voice was low in annoyance as I called out to my mysterious companion.

As if in answer, the mirrored floor swirls into focus, revealing a ink-scaled snake with light grey accents of strange patterns and symbols along it's back. He seemed to look more clear than the bundle of shadows I saw last time.

I looked into the onyx eyes of Nicoli as his long tongue flickered out.

"Your light is brighter than ever, tell me, is your Mate treating you right?" He hisses out, his eyes narrowed a bit.

I'm not sure how the two are connected, and I really didn't feel like having a counseling session with a shadow in my head, and I told him as much,"Listen, I don't want your relationship advice, and I most certainly don't need to tell you any of my business." I said to him, trying to use patience I didn't have.

As if laughing, another hissing sound came from Nicoli.

"You are correct, there is no need to tell me your business, Dear, I already know everything." He informed, much to my dismay.

By now, I've had it. Does everyone just get access to my head then? Are my thoughts even safe anymore?

"What do you mean? Why did you even bother asking then?" I asked in a low and angered tone.

"My Dear, I am apart of you, and therefore already know you. Just as I know you, I know of you." He replied.

Confused, I tilted my head.

"That doesn't even make sense!" I through my hands up angrily.

Hissing, he replied,"No, it doesn't. The only thing that matters is that you survive."

For a moment, the very air of wherever it was we were, turned into a chilling silence.

"Survive? Why? Am I in danger?" I asked, my heart constricting as my stomach dropped. I shivered a bit and rubbed at my arms, trying to salvage whatever warmth my body had.

"You are not in danger, child, you are danger." Nicoli examined me, his beady eyes scanning over me and trying to search through my eyes.

That wasn't very good.

"Why am I here Nicoli?" I started again.

Another pressing and concerning thought pressed forward in the sea of many other questions: Was Nicoli always apart of me? Or did his appearance have something to do with me being here?

As if I wasn't already dealing with so much, did I really need to pile on any more? But if it was important, and could hurt people, I'd need to know, right? If I'm a danger, it'd be best to know how.

I could deal with the piling questions later because of priorities. I have priorities.

Shaking my head I cleared my thoughts, while Nicoli waited patiently for me to continue to listen.

"I brought you here, because I am warning you: Control your emotions. As a youth, your emotions are...heightened. Not including that you are a werewolf's Mate, things will change for you. Through it all, keep your head cool if you want everyone else's to stay attached to their shoulders."
