Allura grabbed Pidge's arm and tied a big blue elastic around her upper arm. She quickly slipped a needle into her blue veins and pressed the liquid into her blood stream. Pidge screamed in pain but it soon died down.
"Pidge are you okay?" Lance worried
"Yup." She responded shakily.
"Guys she said something clearly." Shiro whispered.
"Well we will have to wait, but I will have to tell you this: Her body will not return to its original state, but her mental age will. Basically she will come back but her height and body will always be like a six year olds." Allura softly spoke.
Worried looks were spread amongst the crew they predicted Pidge's comment on this but none of them were sure.
"Well at least we will have Pidge back. Though I'm not sure how much of her she will never be the same again." Keith whispered the last part.
"We have to be strong for her and her recovery." Hunk spoke as put his fist to his heart and nodded.
Pidge had fallen asleep from using her energy. She looked like a little angels with her breathing smooth and her lips partly open her eyes softly shut her hair had grown long over the time she was captured and and been back it had been about two months since she had returned.
"She won't be them same and we will have to accept that. Hey Allura when will her mind be back?" Lance asked.
"About 6 hours so let's return her to her room and have breakfast." Allura smiled reassuringly.
"I can make pancakes?" Hank asked the crew " I found some pancake mix in the earth store at the space mall."
"YESS I LOVE PANCAKES." Lance yelled softly to make sure he wouldn't awake the sleeping pigeon.
"Alright." Hunk nodded.
The paladins left the room and made headway to Pidges room. They soon arrived. Lance put her in her bed and they all kissed her forehead and whispered goodnight they left the room and lance put on a timer for 6 hours.
Hunk made the pancakes and set a couple aside for Pidge.
~ 6 hours later ~
The crew were stalking Zarkon when they heard Swish Swish by Katy Perry play.
"THATS THE TIMER GUYS!" Lance yelled. "ITS BEEN 6 HOURS!"
They bolted down the hall though Lance was far ahead he reached her room and opened up the door and he something he won't forget.
His buddy sitting there staring at her feet
"Pidge?" Lance called out grabbing her attention.
"What happened and why the fuck am I so small?" she asked.
"Pidge!" Lance cried running towards her and picking her up like he was never going to let go.
The others soon arrived and made a huge group hug out of the moment.
"Gahhh why are you all hugging me!" Pidge cried out.
"Pidge you were captured and when we saved you, you were acting different you were getting younger and younger but we saved you, well Allura saved you." Shiro smiled while they all let go of her "though your body was not able to be saved."
"Thank you but I have something to tell you I remember one thing that I can't seem to forget from when I was captured." Pidge frowned tears trickling down her face." I... I watched Matt die."
"Pidge... I'm so sorry." Keith hugged her again.
" I let matt die I couldn't save him." She screamed.
"No Pidge it wasn't your fault it was all Zarkon's." Hunk cooed.
"Yes it was." She kept sobbing.
"Hey Pidge listen to me." Lance kneeled to get to her eye level. "It was not your fault and it will never be your fault you did nothing wrong."
"Okay." She got out of Keith's arms.
"Thank you guys I'm happy to be back."
"No problem." Allura smiled.
"Anything for you." Lance grinning.
"You are one of us after all." Shiro spoke.
"Hey your my friend." hunk hugged her soon letting go.
"Pidge, you are our family there was no way we wouldn't save you." Keith gave his award winning smile.
