Stiles

A few weeks later, Stiles began to forgive himself for what had happened. He knew that what was in the past was in the past, and that he would have to move on. He also knew that he would always have that guilt hanging in his chest. However, he wasn't going to let it stop him from being with his friends and living life.

"Scott, no one would ever replace you as captain. I mean you're the Alpha for Christ's sake!" Stiles says laughing at his best friend. They were at lacrosse practice waiting in line to shoot on their teammate, Danny.

"Yeah but look at him... He's so good!" Scott whispers and watches in awe as the new addition to the team, Liam Dunbar, quickly and easily passes the defence and turns and shoots. Danny doesn't have enough time to move quick enough as the ball hurls past his left shoulder pad, and into the net. Stiles hears Coach clapping in the distance.

"Atta boy Dunbar! Hey McCall, that's the sort of talent we need around here." Coach says to Scott, obviously angering him.

Stiles looks over at Scott who was gripping the handle of his lacrosse stick so hard that Stiles was nervous he was going to break it. Stiles puts his hand on Scott's shoulder, attempting to calm him down.

"Scott it's fine. Just focus your anger. He's not going to take your spot." Stiles reasons. Scott just rolls his eyes and steps up to the line, getting ready to shoot. 'This is not going to be good...' Stiles thinks to himself. Scott starts running, and easily dodges past the defense. It was now him and Danny. Scott didn't waste any time. He quickly shoots and instead of going into Danny's net, the lacrosse ball passes straight through the net and into the goal. Danny stands there in shock, gawking at his net. Scott smirks and turns around, obviously satisfied. Coach yells out to Scott, "There you go McCall! Now that's how it's done!" Stiles just rolls his eyes, smiling a bit, glad that Scott hadn't done anything overly stupid like shift and kill Liam.

The rest of practice goes by quickly. As soon as Stiles takes off all of his lacrosse gear and picks up his bag, he notices that he has received a miss call from someone unknown. He raises an eyebrow, confused, then clicks on it to listen to the voicemail.

Mitch

His plan was going smoothly. The past couple weeks, he had trained and proved to Stan that he was the best, and could live up to his standards. Mitch was starting to think that Stan sometimes saw himself in Mitch once and awhile. The way he handled himself and pushed Mitch more than any of his other students, gave him a sense of gratification. One day, Mitch gets called into Hurley's office. Wondering what it could possibly be about, Mitch steps into Stan's office.  Stan was sitting at his desk, staring at a computer. He looks up as soon as Mitch walks in.

"Mitch. Good to see you. I've got something for you. I think you're going to be very interested in this. Come, have a seat." He says, standing up and facing the computer towards Mitch as he sits down. On the screen, Mitch saw something very familiar. He sucked in his breath.

"W-what the hell..." Mitch says quietly, taken aback. He didn't want to see this video, at all. However, Stan had other plans. He starts playing the video. Mitch immediately starts tearing up. The screen showed the day perfectly. Blue sky, sun shining, many people on the beach. Suddenly, there were gunshots. Mitch immediately turned away and stands up. "Y-you going to turn it off??" He asks forcefully, yet his voice sounded heartbroken. He couldn't stand to see what happened next. She was the only one. The only one who died. Mitch had asked her to marry him that day.

"Just wait..." Stan looks at Mitch who takes a heavy, shaky sigh, and turns around slowly, to face the screen.

"Why the hell are you showing me this??" Mitch says, anger clear through his voice. Stan paused the video. The screen showed a man, dressed in black with a rifle in his hand. He was about to shoot Katrina.

"Watch." Stan says and plays the video in slow motion. Mitch was about to turn around again, not being able to relive it again, when suddenly he realized why he was showing this to him. The man's black face mask had slipped down his face. Stan pauses the video again and turns to face Mitch who was in complete and utter shock.

"W-what the hell..." He says quietly, taking a better look at the assassin. Brown eyes, a few small moles on his cheek, and what shocked Mitch most was the nose. Mitch had the exact same features. Mitch stumbled back a few steps, trying to figure everything out. He had wanted answers. He had wanted to know exactly who it was that killed his Fiancee, so that he could kill him, but this was crazy.

"Mitch. Do you have a twin brother?" Stan asks, his voice not changing, showing no emotion.

Mitch shakes his head quickly. "N-no... not that I know of..." He says quietly. How the hell could he have a brother? Let alone a twin brother? How was that even possible? His family was weird and Mitch always felt like he didn't belong... But he thought that they would be able to tell him anything. Especially something this big. Stan watches Mitch and his facial expressions, examining him as if he were reading his mind. Sometimes, Mitch thought that he was able to read minds. He didn't know how he did it, but he wished he didn't.

"Good. So this should make it easy then. Eliminate the target." Hurley said, as he often did when he gave Mitch the order to kill someone. Mitch takes a step back. He had devoted his life to finding this man who killed her... How is this different than killing any other assassin? Mitch could feel the anger building up inside of him, mostly from confusion. He didn't know why it was going to be so hard. This was what he wanted right? But then again, what if it actually was his brother? However, he did kill Katrina. There has to be revenge for that. He wanted it so badly. He sighs, making up his mind.

"Yes sir." He says, his voice unwavering.

"Good." Stan says, turning the computer around. Mitch starts to walk out of his office when Stan called back to him. "Hey Mitch?"

Mitch turns around to face Hurley again.

"Never, ever, let it get personal." Hurley says seriously.
