The way she looks at you reminds me that
You and I are not of the same kind.
We have never been equals
Despite the heartfelt sentiments under silk sheets
And the cover of the moon.
Stolen kisses have meant everything to me
But what are they to you?
Are they the oxygen to your lungs?
Flowers bursting over your heart with vibrancy that rivals that of the sunset?
Or are they merely just a way to pass time?
Seeing you with her reminds me that maybe your heart was never mine to yearn for.
A crown is always destined for great things
Things that I could never give you.
Things that she has.
Does she kiss you like I did when rain clouds surround your heart?
