Chapter 31

In a very dark and private place you can see two people talking in hush voices....

"What's taking so long?!"  asks the first one with an angry tone

"You can't expect me to do it in a very short time."  replies the second one annoyed

"Well do it faster or I'll do it myself."  commands the first one

"Would you calm down! I can do this by myself!"  shouted the first one really annoyed with the other one

"I'll give you more time but the clock is ticking."  replies the second one and walks out

The one who was left in the dark takes a deep breath. She comes back and heads to the place where she is needed.

PRESENT TIME:

TRIS POV

I was just walking down the corridor when I saw Tobias. Thinking of the competition that me and my friends are having for a privelage training with his friend so I head down to his direction. When he sees me walking to his direction, Tobias puts on a confused look in his face. 

"Hey Four."  I say with a big smile on my face

"Hi Tris." He replies with a weird look

"So how are you?" I ask

Tobias looks me in the eye carefully and tries to see what am I up to. 

"I'm good Tris." He replies with an awkward smile

"How's the training with the transfers?" I ask

He gives me a look that says, "Really Tris? Small Talk?". Tobias then chuckles at me while he shakes his head.

"What?" I ask him delerious

"Cut the crap Tris." he replies with a grin

"Okay you got me." I say while raising my arms in surrender with a grin on my face too.

"So? What's do you want from me Tris?" He asks

"Well you're good friend Liberty is so awesome! She can teach me much more things!" I shout with my excited kid voice

"The thing that I will only share with you is she really likes you so you have a good fighting chance." He replies

"Really?!" I asked shocked

"Yeah she told me yesterday at lunch." He informs

"Wow! That's so great! Thank You! Thank You!" I shout then out of the blue I hug him.

He stiffens at first then hugs me back.

"Your Welcome Tris." He says

I release him and I look up to him and I see him smiling.

"You know we never cleared the air between us." He says

"Yeah well we both moved on have we?" I ask

"Yup but I took a longer time." He replies

"Well maybe it took a much longer time if Liberty didn't came here to Dauntless." I tease him while elbowing him slightly.

He runs his hand through his hair and I think he's kinda embrassed right now.

"I just miss her that much." He says

We look at each other and we laugh out loud.

"You're getting to personal on my love life Tris." He jokes

"Well I'm great at starting friendships and it always ends up with jokes." I say with a grin on my face

"So friends?" He asks

"Friends." I reply with the grin still on my face

We shake hands and head out to our different destinations. I still have on my face because I made up with Tobias. We never thought that our relationship would end but I'm happy we moved on with our lives. Now I head out to meet Christina to tell her on what just happened.
