Chapter 1

"Are you seriously leaving me?"

I already knew the look her eyes would give me. I wanted to tell her that I wasn't, that I wouldn't leave her, but I was and in that moment didn't want to. 

"It's not like I want to leave you Yoojung, but Source Music called me  and the rep said that if I joined them I'd get to debut soon. You know how much debuting would mean to me.....to any of us."

"I know, I know. I'd just thought ... I just thought we'd debut together like we always said."

I knew exactly what she meant. During breaks and meals, we'd always talk of our group name, the clothes we'd wear on our first stage, how we could look back and say it all paid off.

"I just know I should be at Source, you have to trust me."

And looking at her, truly looking  at her eyes my heart was at ease. With a reassuring smile, Yoojung said "Of course I trust you, I'd  have to trust you if you enough if I kept you around for the past 2 years."

"I'm going to miss you so much, you know. All of if . You, this room, the building."

"I know and I hope you do, but go where you need to go, I'll be supporting you from wherever."

I didn't realize how sad I'd be packing my things from my locker, but my excitement from the call I received from Source a week ago still never left me and kept me in a good mood. Their audition panel rep gave me a call a couple days ago and said that if I joined I would debut soon. I was hesitant at first because a couple sunbaenims here said that Source was in a scandal  a year or two or go, but it couldn't be that bad if they were in good conditions now. The room for auditions was pretty decent in size and lighting for being in the basement was good too, but it was the CEO that convinced me Source would be a good place. Mr. So Sungjin said that he would make sure I would debut in a year's time, and I really didn't want to wait longer.

I think there's a time for everything and now I feel is the best time for me to debut. My friend Hayoung is already 3 years in the field and Sooyoung said SM is gonna let her debut in the summer time. I know it's bad to compare, but it hard looking at your friends go and do things you haven't even began practicing for. I trust Mr. So Sungjin and Source enough to make my dreams come true. Starting now I'll only focus on debuting.
