Coffee [Completed]

Chapter 9

"GUYSSSSS!!!! SOOOJUNNNGGG! YEEEERIIIIIN!"

Yewon bursted into our room "Our song debuted at 12 on Gaon!! GAON!!"

"WHAT???REALLY??? OMG???" Sowon up from her bed said, frazzled Yuju with her glasses came in "12?? 12??"

Our phone rang and Mr. So Sungjin contact appeared on the screen "GIRLS YOU GOT 12!!! 12 ON GAON!!!"

I couldn't believe, all 6 of us huddled around the screen and we saw it [12 Glass Bead -  YeojaChingu]. After brief moments of looking at each other of accepting this reality, "YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY" we group hugged and jumped and screamed and I couldn't believe it but did. 

After minutes of cheering, the notifications on our shared phone were flooded with congrats. Our parents, friends from our past companies, lot of people were happy for us.

Smiling Sowon said she'd make us whatever we wanted for breakfast, well whatever we wanted with the ingredients we had at the dorm. We all had soup and eggs for breakfast, showered and went to the training room. 

We were all doing our own things: Eunbi's were dancing, the rest of were singing when Mr. Sungjin and and Bang PD came in arms raised in pride. Mr. Sungjin just looked so happy, with us, his good friend, the good news. He was all starry eyed at Bang PD, they were good good friends.

"Congrats girls!! Mr. Sungseuk says so too, he couldn't come but he's so happy" we bowed, but before we could reply Eunbi's went to give him a double hug. All three looked so happy, they were like his daughters if anything. I'm really thankful to Bang PD, he helped us a lot, we even recorded Glass Bead in BigHit's studio. 

"Did you guys eat yet? It's a good time to celebrate, no better time"

"Ah Sihyuk, this isn't a music show win or anything. Celebratory meals at big events only, the girls are on diets too"

"Diets? Yah, things like these must be chereished. My treat lets go out for noodles!"

We all screamed "JJAJANGMYUN?" Eunha and Umji had the most excited eyes, they are planning to not eat rice for a whole year...A WHOLE YEAR. "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE" we all put on our best puppy eyes. Mr. Sungjin knew he wasn't gonna win, at least not against us.

"Fine, okay, but noodles only"

"YES! BEST DAY EVER!"

We were all bouncing on the way there, he was taking us out to a small restaurant near by. Arriving, it was set deep into the side of a building and you had to take stairs to go down. Dark at first, the 8 of us were seated by a nice middle-aged lady, who seemed familiar with Bang PD. The room had light streaming through the window so it was bright.

The lady came back with menus, "Do you need these or do you already know what you're getting?" she asked Bang PD

"You know me too well, 8 bowls of jjajangmyun please"

"Of course" she looked at us curiously "Hi girls welcome"

"Hello, we are YeojaChingu" we all said with bows

Looking back to Bang PD, "Where are your boys or did you get too tired of them and realized girls were better?"

"Yah, never well.....no they're just home. This is my good friend's new group" he patted Mr. Sungjin too hard, causing us all to laugh

"Ah yes, this is GFriend, who had just freshly debuted, please support them. Thank you for serving us" he said shyly

"Oh I will, I will. Come all together next time, I have room here. All 15 of you."

"You can count on it" Bang PD said and she went to go place our orders

"Yah, how are your boys do you have comeback plans soon?" Mr. Sungjin said

"End of April"

"That's good, that's good. I saw albums sales were good last time, I know you said you're doing a different concept, I'm excited to see it"

"Yeah they are too, I think this suits them more right now, with being in their youth"

"Are these clues I should look out for?"

"Of course you know me" (damn bts+bh with all their theories)

The lady came back with our bowls, I could feel my mouth watering. She set the noodles and pickled radishes down on our table. This truly has been a good day. Bang PD took a picture of his bowl. We all began eating, to the point where there was no talking. I hadn't realized how much I missed eating freely - late night ramen was treasured, but we had to be so cautious.

Looking from her bowl, younger Sinb asked "How are the boys? Did they watch our debut? What did they say about the choreography?"

"Good, yes, good. They miss seeing all of you guys, they miss everyone, all the trainees, we don't have a lot right now so it's a bit quiet if they're not being loud"

"Yah, were Jimin's tatoos real? The ones from MAMA?" Eunha asked. I remember we all watched that, he tore off his shirt...like completely tore it off. 

"Another comeback clue, just wait girls it'll be good, the next release is promising" he said proud

We were all eating, when Bang PD's phone rang

"Hello?"

The other person on the line screamed "Bring us back some noodles too! Please and thank you" and hung up.

"Who was that?" Mr. Sungjin asked.

Sighing, "The boys, I sent them a picture of our meal and they want me to bring some back for them"

"You have to feed boys you know"

"Yeah they just eat... they just eat so much" Bang PD was making motions with his hand with a confused face

He raised his hand to signal the nice lady, "Girls want more?" she said looking at us, oh how I wished, I feel like I could eat 10 more bowls.

"No for the boys, 10 bowls to go if that's alright"

"I knew I'd still be feeding them hahaha. I'll have them ready when you pay and leave"

"Thank you!"

"Why 10 bowls?" Yuju asked, she was so out of it as she concentrated on her last noodle. I don't think  she was going along with what had just happened. 

"They just eat so much"

Hm I would have never guessed they're all in good shape. Boys are lucky that way, everything they eat is never reflected in their bodies. Boys definitely have an easier physical image to uphold, but all the standards are meaningless anyways.
