"Wait..what?" I'm shocked. She rarely ever assigns anyone a piece to cover now with the news that Sadie gave me, this is going to be a difficult task. But it could bring me closer to the top.

I am kind of excited, but also kind of scared. What if I fail? Will I get fired? Okay, I need to stop with the negative thinking. It's not helping anyone. I focused back on Ms. Townsen only for her to be looking at me expectedly.

"I'm sorry what were you saying?" She looked at me, seeming kind of annoyed, before she asked me the question again.

"Will you write the article or not?" she snapped. She was growing even more irritated.

"Umm....yes?" I said, well more like asked. Mrs. Townsen shook her head in confirmation.

"Good, you will leave in two days and you will be going to the last place the prince was spotted. That would be in New York City. Have you ever been to New York City?" she asked as she got up from her desk, and walked over to her printer that was against the far right wall of her office.

"No ma'am, but it is one of the locations that I have on my bucket list." I was kind of excited at the thought of possibly going to the most wondrous place in the United States. Growing up in the great state of Massachusetts, I never really had the opportunity to travel. I was born into a middle class family, the youngest of four kids. My parents had usually spent all of their money on my two elder brothers, and my elder sister so that left hardly anything for me. You would think being the baby of the family would get me some brownie points. Yea no that never happened.

"Well, I guess we both win in this situation because that is where you will be headed first. New York is a big place, and you will need to do your research. So I suggest that you do that within the next two days that I am giving you along with all of your packing." Ms. Townsen handed me a plane ticket, first class, to New York City, New York.

"OH MY GOSH!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MS. TOWNSEN YOU WON'T REGRET THIS!!!" I was literally squealing, but she didn't seem amused. She looked kind of freaked out to tell you the truth.

"Yea, don't make me regret giving you that plane ticket or this job if you fail... well let's not go there quite yet.." she said as she settled back at her desk. That shut me up in an instant. I definitely wanted to keep my job if it at all possible.

"Well, Ms. Reagan you are relieved of your duties until you complete this piece for me. So go get your packing and research done within these next few days and you will be off." She then began to type away at her computer like this conversation never even happened so I left her office, went to my desk, say goodbye to Sadie, and packed all of my things to leave. This is gonna be fun!

It's the traveling day

"Kiva, could you come help me please!" I yelled as I struggled to pull my suitcase down the hallway to the front door. I could hear her footsteps running down the hallway that led to the back door and a guest bedroom.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Right about the time she makes it to me, she trips over her own two feet and lands face-first on the floor in front of me.

'OMMMMFFFFF'

Kiva grunts as she tries to pull herself up from the floor.
