Noelle Reagan is an aspiring photojournalist that is trying to get her big break. She works for one of the most read newspapers that has ever been printed, The Daily Breeze. She was working on her article for her paper when her boss, Ms. Missy Town...
Recap from the last chapter: "I wanted to come to check on you since I am the one that wasn't paying attention which caused me to hit you." The man had brought the woman's belongings with him in the hospital. So he handed the young woman her purse with her phone inside. She took the bag from him rifling through it before asking a very crucial question. "I'm sorry, but who are you?" ________________________________________________________________________________ Noelle's POV:
"I'm sorry, but who are you?" I stared at the man who stood before me. He looked familiar, but I couldn't place where I had seen him before. I broke eye contact with him as I continued looking through my purse for my phone. I am hoping that it's not broken to bits. Oh no, what if Ms.Townsend tried to get in touch with me?! I didn't have my phone because I was in this stupid hospital because of this stupid idiot! I looked up at him waiting for his reply. His mouth opened and closed several times before he replied.
"I'm the guy that hit you. I am so sorry, I was texting and I wasn't paying attention..." His voice droned on as he continued to give me excuses about why he hit me with his car. As he continued talking I continued to look through my purse for my phone. After digging for another two minutes before I dumped everything that was in my purse out on the bed. I had to push aside a bunch of junk before I found my phone. I let out a sigh of relief as I realized that there weren't any cracks, though there were a couple of scratches.
I pressed the home button to see my recent notifications. I sighed with relief when there weren't any missed calls or text from Ms. Townsend. I leaned back the man that stood before finished whatever rant he was giving me.
"Then I followed the ambulance to the hospital and stayed to see you," he said, "Though I had to tell them I was your brother." I nodded at his reply and started to look around me at the room that I was in. It was pretty nice for a hospital room. The room is huge. There are three huge windows that showed the cityscape of New York. It is beautiful! I wanted to get up to get a closer look at the view, but for obvious reasons, I stayed put.

I could tell the man was getting anxious by the way that he was tapping his fingers to the arm of the chair that he sat in. As he tapped I began to become annoyed.
"Would you please stop that tapping, and tell me WHO THE HECK YOU ARE?!?" I shouted the last part hoping to get an immediate reaction. He looked startled when I shouted, but he traded his shock for a more sheepish look. He rubbed the back of his neck with his right hand.
"Sorry about the tapping, it's a habit that I need to stop doing." he apologized. "I agree, it is very annoying." Right as the sentence came out of my mouth, my cell started to ring. It was Ms. Townsend. I let out a groan, but it sounded more like a dying whale than a groan. The still mystery man looked at me with a weird expression on his face. I guess the weird groan made him a little freaked out.
"Hello, you've reached Noelle," I say as soon as I answer the phone. Trying to be professional while talking to my boss. The mystery man let out a chuckle while shaking his head.
