Third Person POV:
The sound of emergency vehicles filled the air as the paramedics swerved in and out of traffic. They were trying to get the injured individual to the hospital. They reached the hospital within 5 minutes. The back doors of the ambulance opened as soon as the vehicle came to a stop.
"What've we got?" the ER doctor asked as he tied on a clear jacket over his scrubs. The paramedics in the back of the ambulance answered the doctor's question.
"23-year-old female. Hit by a car, possible concussion, broken ribs, legs, and arms. Minor abrasions across the body." The doctor got some nurses to help him get the patient into the hospital.
"On my count! One, two, three!" the doctor counted before hoisting the patient's body onto a hospital stretcher. The nurses then began working on all the patient's vitals and starting an IV.
"How's her vitals?" asks the doctor as he works on checking the patient's eyes for a reaction, checking for brain damage. Further testing will need doing before the doctor confirms anything.
"Doctor there's a man outside. He's wanting information on the patient that was just brought in." The doctor was at the reception desk filling out paperwork for the new patient when one of his nurses approached him.
"Thank you, nurse. I will go talk to him in a minute." The nurse nodded her head before leaving to start her rounds. The doctor picked up his clipboard and headed to the waiting room. There were a couple of families waiting on their loved ones or friends, but there was one young man that was pacing back and forth. He was shoving his hands through his hair, and it seemed that he was also talking to himself.
The only time that he paused was when he realized that the doctor had come into the room.
"Hello doctor, are you the one who took care of the woman who got hit by the car?" the man asked. The doctor, who had the clipboard in hand, answered the man.
"Yes, I am. Are you kin to the patient?" the doctor asked, just on instinct knowing that the man was in no way related to the patient.
"Yes, I'm her brother." the man replied not wanting to be denied access to the woman that he accidentally hit with his car. The doctor nodded his head. He didn't feel like arguing with the young man because he had been on his feet for the past 22 hours with only coffee to keep him going.
"It would seem that the young woman has a couple of minor abrasions, and we are going to be doing a CT scan, and a full body x-ray to make sure that she doesn't have any brain damage or any broken bones." the doctor told the man. The doctor led the young man to the reception desk to see what room the nurses had put the young woman in.
"Where is the young lady that was just brought in from the car incident?" the doctor asked. The nurse that was currently sitting at the reception desk. She typed in some things on the computer in front of her before she answered the doctor.
"She is now in room 223, doctor." Replied the nurse once she had the information requested. The doctor nodded his head and turned around to inform the man that had wanted the information, but he had already disappeared.

The man practically ran to the elevator anxious to check on the girl that he had accidentally hit with his car. He had been texting on the phone, and he hadn't realized that the light had turned. he had been distracted by the text that he had received that he did not realize that there was a woman was crossing the street. He looked up, but it was too late. The woman flew into his windshield before bouncing off back onto the road in front of the car. He called for an ambulance as soon as he realized what happened. After the ambulance took the woman away, he found her bag, and phone a couple of feet away from where she had fallen. His car was not near as damaged as it seemed, but he parked it off to the side and hailed a taxi.
