Hello everyone!
Before I start, I'd like to apologise because for some reason, in the last chapter I posted, the part with the lyrics came out with no spaces, even though, it was fine before I posted it. I tried fixing it but it just gets messier. So, sorry for that. Anyhow, let's begin, shall we?

*Dean's POV right after the broadcast ended*
Dean sat still on his couch. Eyes fixed on the radio.
"Dean?" Sammy called gently, standing in the hallway, looking at his brother.
Dean turned to his little brother instantly "Oh...Hey Sammy..."
Sam sighed and walked over to the couch, sitting next to his brother.
"Dean...talk to me..."
Dean couldn't hold it in anymore. He burst out crying, tugging on his brothers shirt as he buried his face between Sammy's small arms.
Sam held his brother. The man who took care of him for so long. Whenever he shed a tear, Dean would step in and kick somebody's ass! Ultimately, Dean was his father. Dean was, now, his only family and it was his duty, no matter how young, to take care of his brother in the same way.
"Dean..." he whispered "Remember what you promised me once?" Dean's sobbing became more silent in the sound of Sammy's words "You promised me you wouldn't let him go..." Dean slowly withdrew from Sam's arms and looked at him "Please Dean...Please keep your promise!"
It took Dean a couple of seconds, but eventually he nodded.
"I love you, Sammy." Dean said, his voice cracking.
"I love you too, Dean." The little boy smiled.

*Castiel's POV*
"I think I'll go home now" Castiel say as he took off his headphones, standing up. His face was still stained with tears. He hadn't managed to wipe them yet.
Michael handed him a few tissues from a small box he kept on his desk. "Why don't you stay here? Just for a bit. Don't be alone tonight, Cassy..."
Cas sighed and sat back down, taking the tissues and giving his brother a small, tired smile. "Okay."
~
About half an hour went by and Cas couldn't stay anymore. Even though Michael constantly tried to cheer him up, he even tried playing some old Christmas specials - which Cas always loved- but all the other songs he played were just painful. Van Morrison, Elvis Presley, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan...all of their songs just increased Cas' pain.
"I'll go now." Cas stood up. Michael took of his headphones and stood up, hugging his brother.
"Thank you, Michael. For everything..."
"Don't mention it." Michael said as he placed a soft kiss on his brother's forehead. "Take these." He took some money out of his wallet and handed them to Cas. "For the cab."
Cas nodded, smiling and left.
~
It was already raining, when Cas stepped out of the station's building.
He stood there for a second. Though the freezing cold pierced through his bones, he couldn't resist. He tilted his head back and just let the rain wash away the darkness.
The best part about the rain, was that no one could tell when you were crying. That's why Castiel loved it so much. Because no matter how bad things got, he could just sit in the rain for a while and let his tears flow.
~
Soon after, Cas hopped into a cab and headed home.
He leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes...
~~
"Hey! Mister!" The driver's heavy Italian accent caused Cas' eyes to jerk open.
"Oh. Sorry. Here you go. Keep the change." He got out of the taxi and headed for his brother's apartment, giving the doorman a small smile as he entered the building.
The moment he reached Michael's door, he dug his hands into his pockets searching for the keys.
Shit.
The keys were nowhere to be found.
Great. Exactly what I needed...
He stood against the wall and slid down, covering his face with his hands. He was too depressed to care. As his eyes flooded with tears, once more, he tried to muffle his soft sobs.
Until, the sound of keys rattling broke the silence. Cas' head jerked up instinctively.
"Hello, stranger." Dean said with a small grin on his face, Michaels keys were in his hand.
