I continued walking straight, every step was uncertain. Suddenly I heard footsteps behind me, turning around thankfully, I said, "I'm so glad you found me Damien. I'm sorry about..."

I just stopped mid-sentence. At that moment lightening crackled, threatening to bring the rain. It was not Damien. It was the enchantress. She stood in front of me, giving me her sinister smile.

"Thought you could escape, now did you ? Nobody escapes the tower. I will become younger. The moon of Niradnam will appear tomorrow night. Or did you forget ? We must keep everything ready. Now come along. You don't want me to tie you up and drag you, do you ? Save an old lady some trouble, would you ?"

I knew there was no escaping her now. Why waste my energy, when I might need it later ? I did not say a word, just nodded and followed her. I thought I could prevent it, but I was wrong. She's still powerful. I can't imagine how much more powerful she will become after regaining her youth.

We entered a cave. It ended abruptly a little deeper inside. The roof of the cave had a circular hole in it. Right below the hole was a large pot, filled with a green coloured liquid. It was boiling and bubbling. She locked me up in a cage, on one side of the cave.

"Don't even think of escaping from here. There's completely no chance for that," she said with an evil laugh, "I'll be right back."

There really was no way for me to escape, but I still tried to open the padlock. Nothing worked, so I sat down, making myself as comfortable as I could. I would not be leaving this place very soon.

A few minutes later I heard footsteps. The enchantress had returned. But I was horrified to see her dragging someone along. It was Damien. He must have tried to find me. He was struggling to be free from her grip. As she brought him closer, he started flailing his arms.

"Let me go. I said, let me go," he yelled at her at the top of his lungs.

"You should not have followed her. Now you will suffer the same fate as her,"she said and laughed evilly.

She opened the cage and pushed him in, locking it once again. She  added more ingredients to the potion and stirred it with a satisfied smirk.

"Damien are you alright ?" I asked him, worry written all over my face.

"Don't worry about me. I'm alright. But she is one ruthless woman," he said."And, I want to apologise for before. I'm really, truly sorry about it."

"It's okay. Just don't go and do it again. Please," I said. I never thought he would follow me into the forest.

We just sat there- first trying to figure out if there was an escape, and not finding one and then just talking.

"I suppose this is the end then. I won't be seeing any more places or doing any new things," I said sadly.

He was quiet. He just sat there and looked at the potion in the huge pot boil and bubble.
