Even though the world was full of colours
All i could see was shades of black and white
The skies and seas held in my eyes a grey existence
The very green earth i stood was like a white carpet
Every mistake,Every agony, every woe seen like a black unremovable stain
Every heartbreak, every pain, creating a blacker spot
I needed a rainbow to colour my stains
needed a palette to cover my blank canvas
I closed my eyes and felt the surge of colours
My violet was a laugh that adorned the night skies
My indigo was the soul felt words you uttered
My blue was the eyes of a beautiful child
My green was the walls that you broke down
My yellow was the light that shone for a cause
My orange was the dream in my head
My red was the fire raging in my eyes
