Lina's POV:

Our friend group was sitting in a circle on the desk tops talking during our last block class, debate, which we all took together.

This class could be fun, especially when there's a substitute, like today.

But everything seemed to get quiet a little after the bell.

I look up into the doorway and see Callaghan, smiling her beautiful smile, and a strange boy next to her.

Callaghan was single, and she was always looking to 'mingle'.

But this guy did not look like her type- leather jacket?

I always thought Callaghan was the 'go for the star football player' but I mean, I guess that would be weird, considering that's her twin brother.

But leather jacket boy? Nuh uh.

But his face, it was nice. He looked nice and inviting. Like a good friend; someone you could count on.

"Hey guys, meet my friend Jack," She pointed to leather jacket boy, I assume his name is Jack.

"Hey Jack! I'm Jack," My boyfriend, Jack Johnson said.

Leather jacket boy look confused.

I stood up off my desk and walked around the mysterious boy.

"So, the leather jacket boy had a name?" I said inspecting his entire body.

He was wearing a pair of black vans and tighter jeans- now not skinny jeans, but not baggy.

The kid has style, I like him.

"Uhh.. Yeah?" He answered my rhetorical question, confusingly.

"So, where you from? Girlfriend? Criminal record?" I asked joining Callaghan by sitting on the desks.

"Um.. Florida.. No.. No," He answered, but he seemed a bit shaky on the last answer.

"Do you like my sister? You guys seemed lovey dovey on the way in," Cameron piped in.

"She's nice, gorgeous," He said looking right past me at her.

"Just know I'll beat your ass if you hurt her.. Like I mean dead," Cameron said, sounding completely serious.

Jack put his hands up in defeat.

"Oh stop it Cam, he wouldn't kill you Jack," Callaghan joined in and everyone laughed.

We all talked about the normal things still asking Jack loads of questions. But he just kind of sat there, taking everyone and everything in.

After class I met up with Callaghan and we walked to her brothers car.

"Jack is kinda cute, no?" I asked her.

She lifted her eyebrow, "You don't think he's too 'bad'? I mean you only called him 'leather jacket boy' a million times,"

"No, I honestly think you guys would be cute together," I was coming up with a plan on my own.

"Whatever. Call me later?" She said stepping inside the Mustang.

"You got it babe."

It was around 4:30 when I finally drove home and finished up all my homework.

I decided I would call Callaghan, since she asked specifically.

"Hey girl what's up?" She answered.

"Nothing. Wanna do something tonight with the guys? Celebrate the first day of junior year?" I asked chewing on a salad.

"Yeah sure, let me talk to Cam and I'll call you back?"

"Got it," And I hung up the phone.

Callaghan's POV:

I was watching my niece and doing homework when I got a call from Lina.

I picked up the baby from the living room carpet and walked up the long stair case, that she couldn't quite handle on her own yet.

I knocked on Cameron's door.

"Come in."

I twisted the knob and stepped a few feet inside.

"Cam! Cam! Cam!" The baby resting on my hip cried.

"Hey baby girl? What's wrong beautiful?" He said taking the crying baby from my hands.

She didn't answer, just cried for a few minutes and held on to him. He loved her so much, and it showed.

"Okay, so what did you come in here for?" He asked setting Lex on the bed.

"Oh, yeah, Lina and I wanted to know if you wanted to get the guys together and do something tonight? Maybe beach? Or the bridge or town?" I suggested.

"Uhm yeah. Tj or Tera won't be home till later though. What do we do with the baby?" He asked.

"Uhh... What time will they be home?" I asked.

"Anytime, maybe 5, there at the doctors," He said getting quieter.

Them being at the doctors could mean anything. Tj is my older brother and Tera is his girlfriend. They have been trying for another baby for a long time now; but they've had no luck.

"Oh," my voice croaked, "do you think it will go good?"

"Yeah, I mean we can only hope for the best right?"

I nodded my head.

"Okay, we'll I'll call the guys. Pizza and town?" Cameron suggested.

I nodded my head, again, and went to pick up the baby.

"Can she stay with me?" He asked.

I smiled, "yeah, she likes you better anyway."

He laughed and I walked back downstairs.
