Cameron's POV:

I woke up to the sound of Lex in the middle of the night. I jumped out of bed and ran down the hall towards the crying baby.

It might seem weird that I was in such a rush to get to her, but I didn't want to wake Callaghan up, she isn't much of a no sleep kind of person, and I needed to make sure she was safe.

After opening the door the baby noticed it was me right away and stopped crying.

"Don't cry beautiful," I said picking her up and taking her into my room.

She slowly fell asleep between me and the pillow. As for I, didn't get much sleep in fear of rolling on top of a baby.

I woke up just before seven, in time to turn off the alarm before waking the baby.

I slipped out of the bed and over to my dresser where I picked out my clothes for the day; a white Vans tshirt and !jeans.

I ran my finger through my hair and picked up the now awake baby and brought her downstairs.

Not long after Callaghan and I were on our way to high school.

I don't remember much about that day, only 10th and 12th block.

12th block because I was about to gouge Gilinsky's eyes out for flirting with my sister so much.

But 10th because of a girl. Stupid, right?

She walked in wearing a LA tank and skinny jeans, her brown hair bouncing in loose curls. She flashed a perfect smile before taking the seat next to me.

"Class, we will be starting a book project. Groups of three; one group of two. Find partners now or I will find them for you," our teacher said with light attitude.

"Do you want to work together, it seems like everyone else has groups," she said turning towards me.

"Sure," I managed to squeak out.

"Okay," she looked down at the book we had been given, "Romeo and Juliet? I've read it a bunch of times. It will be easy."

"Alright. Oh, and I'm Cameron, I don't think I ever got your name?"

"I know who you are, I'm Bri," she said looking at me with her piercing blue eyes.

"Oh, we'll nice to meet you. I love your eyes," I smiled to her, hoping to win her over.

"Thank you," she blushed.

"Okay so I should probably get your number so we can work on our project?" I asked after an awkward silence.

She gave me her number and vice versa. We hit it off on the spot.

When I finally arrived at my last class, debate, it was obvious that Gilinsky had a thing for my sister. This made me furious.

Why him?!

Why her?!

They aren't the same kind of person at all!

He's bad, oh I know he's bad. He just always has that look in his eye.

"Good afternoon, this is the principle speaking. I would just like to announce that Homecoming is coming up. You might want to start preparing! Have a good and safe night, see you tomorrow," our principle, Mr. Evans, spoke on the announcements.

I looked over and saw that Gilinsky was smirking and flirting with Callaghan. It was making my stomach do somersaults.

"Would you two stop it?" I said just before the bell, that dismissed us for the day, rang.

I walked to Bri's locker just after gathering my books from mine.

"Hey, so I was thinking.. You know homecoming is coming up.." I started to say.

"Are you asking me to homecoming?" Bri asked looking confused.

"Uhh, yeah?"

"You have to do something better than that, Dallas," she smirked, smiled and walked away.
