When Rogue and Lucy got off the train 3 hours later, they were greeted with the salty smell of the ocean along with the sounds of squawking seagulls. They looked at each other before heading to the ticket counter. They walked up to a young woman, mid-twenties, and Lucy asked politely, "Um, excuse me miss. Sorry to bother you, but could you direct us in the direction of the Forbidden Forest?"
The woman looked up in surprise before she said, "Oh, it's about a half an hour walk due East but...why in Earth Land would you want to go there? It's full of monsters and creatures that could swallow you whole." The woman leans in and whispers, "Not to mention there's been mention of a dragon flying to and from there."
Both mages exchange glances before Rogue speaks monotonously, "Yes we are here to possibly deal with that particular problem."
The woman perks up at that and gives them a closed eyed smile as she says, "Oh, well good luck then, I hope you succeed. Be careful though."
Lucy nods to the woman with a smile of thanks before she joins Rogue as he's already began walking away from the ticket counter in the direction of the Forbidden Forest.
They arrive at the outskirts of a dark forest with a misty fog that rises to about two feet off the ground. They turn their heads to see a small stone cottage with a log roof. The white shadow dragon glances at Lucy before heading towards the cottage. As both mages arrive, the blonde knocks on the wooden door and steps back next to Rogue. After a few seconds the door slowly creeks open about an inch wide to reveal a green eye looking out. When the eye turns to the two mages it runs up and down their figures before a feminine but raspy voice speaks, "May I help you?"
The celestial mage answers, "We are the mages of Fairy Tail that have come on behalf of the request the Mayor placed. He mentioned over Lacrima that you would be able to help us."
The green eye widened slightly then blinked before retreating as the door opens with a loud and long creeping sound. The blonde celestial mage gulps as she follows closely behind the dragon slayer inside the cottage. The mages get five feet inside and the right side of the room is suddenly lit with orange light. Their heads quickly shoot over to find the source to be an old woman lighting a five pronged candelabra with her finger. She has long grey hair that reaches to about her waist. She's the same height as Wendy.
She turns towards the two mages and beckons them over to where she is as she walks over to an old lounge chair and sits. The dragon slayer and celestial mage cautiously walk to the woman and sit across from her on the love seat of the same material as the lounge chair. They wait patiently for the old woman to start speaking as she snaps her fingers and the fire place lights with a brilliant flame and warms the room. Both mages have just noticed how dark it is in the cottage, while it's still mid-day outside. They brush it off as the old woman begins to speak, "I'm glad you have finally arrived. I'm sure you have plenty of questions. Such as why your Master was given so little information about this request." She turns to Lucy and continues, "And why I asked for you, Miss Lucy, to be the wizard to help."
She paused to take a sip of tea that neither mage had taken notice to until that moment, "Well I specifically requested you because I believe your magic could be of great use in this situation. Being one of the only celestial mages left, and quite possibly the most powerful, you could know what to do for this mission."
Lucy's eyes widen before she asks, "Well what could my magic help with? I also have a great amount of knowledge for celestial magic and the constellations themselves."
The old woman nods in approval as she says, "Good because I believe this dragon that I told your Master about has some sort of magic related to the stars. I have seen it but once. It isn't very large, maybe 40 feet long. But the way it looked was mesmerizing. It was dark navy blue with white spots all over its body. It looked like the night sky itself, like it was a piece of it. It saw me and flew off with its gigantic wings bringing up dust all around me so I had to cover my eyes. And just as quickly as I came upon it, it had disappeared."
