When I reached the gymnasium, I quickly changed to my jersey short and shirt. While I was putting my knee pads and elbow pads, I’ll let you know how big our school is.
Well first to be general, it’s frankly big. For descriptions, it has 12 courts for different ball games. 4 for volleyball, 5 for basketball and 3 for badminton and tennis. That’s not all; we also have an arena for school and regional contests, or for home court games. Our school arena can hold a maximum of 1500 students and in our contest arena can hold a maximum of 6000 students.
When I finished putting my protection gear, my team mates come one by one, so I decided to wait for all of them before we start. As soon as we are complete, we proceeded to stretching which is practically consists of 1 hour jogging around the volleyball court, stretching, lateral run, planting rice, agility exercise, and of course the combination of the all. After that almost 3 hour stretching, we practiced spiking, serving and receiving, and rescuing dead balls. That made my day, and before we finished our training for today, Jay appeared out of nowhere. When I spotted him, I wave of my team mates and dismissed them for today. He slowly approached me and just smile.
“You look like a killer.” I told him suspiciously, which earned a laugh to him.
“I’m too good to kill.” Made He said with a smile, which made him cute.
“I don’t think I’ll believe that.” I said to him as I headed to the shower area, but I remembered asking him something.
“Anyway, why are you here?” I simply asked to him. I grabbed my bag when we walked by near the bench I used to sit.
“You like him do you?” He asked as he sat in the bench. How did he know? Am I that too obvious? I don’t think so.
“No.” I said to him as I looked to him with bothered eyes.
“Oh come on.” He said grumpily but I just laughed at his action, I think Kurt doesn’t know him that well.
“Just drop it, I don’t like him and that’s final Jay.” I said seriously to him.
“Alright?” I asked in confirmation and he just nodded which gave me a satisfied smile.
“Now take a shower you’re already stinking.” He said as he covered his nose. I smelled myself and I’m not stinky, I said to myself. I heard him laugh and I send him my knock-it-off glare, but it just made him laugh even more.
“That is not funny!” I yelled to him as I yanked his phone and run fast to the shower area and locked the door just before he reached me.
I took my shower slowly as my mind drifted to my fight with Kurt. He just ruined our friendship. Why does he have to be like that? I don’t understand him. Maybe he’s not good like others say and is just a fraud, but if that’s the case, and then he’s a god damn good liar. If this is what he wants, then I’ll give him, it’s not me who’ll be crying in the end, because I already cried a lot because of him and that’s enough. It’s too much for me take in now and it’s not even worth it, and I’m hurting already, so it’s time to stop now, or at least a break from him. When I’m aware that I’m fully dressed now, I got out of the shower room and forgot that Jay is waiting for me to get his phone back.
“Got you.” He said when he grabbed my hand misinterpreting that his phone is there. A shock of electricity shot through me and I practically jumped a little bit in surprise. God. I miss Kurt. Is just been a while. But, I can’t even take it.
