Weeks seem to pass very fast and by every day that ends I was just getting more anxious by the thought of being with Kurt; finally, though I still haven’t told Jay our current situation but Kurt and I agreed to keep our relationship a secret between Lu, Beth him and I. tomorrow I will be back to school, finally! After a long week of boredom, I can finally get some freedom. Yippee! And again I was interrupted by this unknown voice and presence. Is really life full of disturbance?

“Well.” The voice said as my bed room’s door swung wide open. I was almost glaring to whoever person disturbed me from my previous thoughts when I recognized the person as Jay.

“Whoa! Calm down will you?” He told me with a faint, nervous smile. It took time for me to process what he said so I just shrugged and stared out in the window.

“So I see, you’re busy.” He told me stating the unfolding fact in front of him.

“Well you can say that.” I agreed to him as I continue to be dazed by our lawn that I was looking to. I heard footsteps getting closer to me and then stopped just behind me. He slipped his hands through my waist and I tensed up a bit but relaxed when he rested his in my left shoulder and stared at our lawn too. Being with him feels a lot different than being with Kurt. When with Jay I just feel good and comfortable with all the teasing and being myself, but being with Kurt, I feel safe, protected, loved and sometimes I feel worshipped yet at the same time I feel that I’m myself, finally.

“Hey, what brought you here by the way? And what’s happening down there? I can hear some faint noises.” I said skeptically while tilting my head sideways to glance up at him expectantly.

“Why I don’t think visiting my girlfriend will be a bad idea don’t you think? Plus the noise is just probably the rest of the gang.” He said as he spun me around to face him.

“Why are they here?” I suddenly asked as my curiosity paced up.

“Isn’t that nice that your curiosity is getting perked up?” He said with a laugh that rung through my ears. Don’t get me wrong but I can’t help myself but to compare Kurt with Jay.

“Oh shut up.” I told him while I playfully smacked him in the arm. I released myself from his arms and headed for the doors. Jay kept his paced on walking with me. We both walked down the stairs until we reached the living room.

“Well, where are they?” I asked to him as I looked to where he was standing; in the kitchen I walked up to him and crossed my arms over my chest and tapped my foot impatiently. Then he grabbed me by the waist and hold me in that place until the front door swung open and I heard footsteps and murmurings. I was about to turn my head to look who was it when Jay held my head and then kissed me. I was in state of shock of what he did. I know the gang was there, meaning Kurt was there too.

In my peripheral vision I saw Kurt glaring at Jay and thank God only I saw it. I wasn’t kissing him back. I never did kissed back with his kisses. It felt odd, the kiss I mean. Surely he took over me in the kisses we shared but I just shrugged it off as always.

“What was this all about?” I quickly asked as I managed to pull away from the kiss. I scanned the room, to find the whole gang in there, as well as their parents and mine and also Jay’s. Our parent’s was so happy with all grinning faces at the scene they just witnessed. And when I turned to look at Jay again, he was kneeling in front of me with a small velvet box he is holding.

“Ja—y wh—what’s th—th—iss?” I asked Jay, nervous for his answer. I don’t believe this. I know he’ll be doing this but I never thought it’ll be this soon. And I knew deep inside he feels that I am not attached with our relationship. He chuckled nervously at my question yet answered confidently.
