Chapter 1: My Kind of Love

"I'll have two Cinnamon Crunch bagel with the hazelnut spread and the low fat mango smoothie. Thank you." I say to the cashier as I grab my ringing phone from my back pocket.

"Hello?" I answer as I hand over my credit card to pay for my food and drink.

"Hey, Amelia. How are you today?" my manager Liam asks and I roll my eyes.

"How many times have I told you to call me Lia, William? Unless you have some bad news to give me," I say getting worried.

"Everything is fine, I just thought I'd give you a scare. I call with good news." Liam says as the cashier hands me back my card and a bag along with my drink.

"Thank you, have a great day." I say turning to leave, I run right into a hard chest.

"Oof," I gasp, holding onto to my cup.

"I'm so sorry, excuse me." I say forgetting all about my call and looking up at whoever I ran into. A tall and mysterious man with black sunglasses stand in front of me.

"That's okay, miss. I wasn't paying attention." He says and I look back down.

"Amelia Hayes?" I hear the stranger say and I frown looking back up at him.

"Alexander...Alexander Knight." the stranger says, taking off his sunglasses. I try to mask my shock at his grey eyes and nod.

"I know who you are, your eyes are a dead give away." I tell him, relaxing a bit now. Alexander was best known for his recurring role on a cop show and a drama film called Miles Away. He smiles at me, tucking his sunglasses in his leather jacket pocket.

"Yeah, I get that a lot." he says chuckling and I blush some.

"If you don't mind but while I'm already embarrassing myself let me tell you,my mother is a huge fan of yours and would die to know that I literally ran into you." I say and he looks stunned.

"I was actually about to say the same thing, our parents like each other. This is great," he says as he pulls out his phone.

"Selfie?" he asks and I laugh, going to the camera on my iPhone. I stand slightly in front of him and we take our 'selfie' together.

"Now I understand how our fans feel when they meet us. It's completely bizarre but I understand it." I say and he nods agreement.

"This whole meeting has been bizarre but it's been a pleasure meeting you, Ms. Amelia Hayes." Alexander says and I nod.

"Likewise," I say just as my phone starts to ring again.

"The manager?" Alexander asks and I nod.

"Who else would it be?" I ask. It was a strange concept; the fact that I was talking to this complete stranger as if we'd been buddies for life.

"One second," I tell Liam before extending my other hand out to Alexander.

"As much as I'd love to stay and talk...i have to go." I tell, shaking his hand and heading towards the door.

"Until we bump again?" I hear Alexander say and I laugh.

"Who are you laughing at?" I hear Liam ask and I almost drop my phone.

"Um, sorry. I just bumped into Alexander Knight, literally." I say to him and I hear laugh.

"Only you would bump into the hottest actor of right now at Panera," Liam says and I shake my head.

"So what was the news you wanted to tell me?" I ask him, sitting in my car and sitting everything in the passenger seat.

"You got the audition for that romance film you were going crazy about. Tomorrow at two o'clock." He rushes out all at once, I freeze and take it all in before squealing at the top off lungs.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! this is amazing! Liam please tell me you aren't not joking." I say, tears on my eyes.

"I am as serious as a heart attack love, you're going to kill it tomorrow." he says and I start to bawl.

"Mom, mom I'm glad you got the pic and that you love it but I have to go. I have to go to my audition." I tell my mother, walking towards the door when someone from behind open the door for me.

"Thank you so much," I say, looking up and seeing Alexander's face.

"Woah! What is going on?" he asks shocked and I shrug in shock too.

"What are the odds that the day after we meet, we go to the same audition. Mr. Knight are you stalking me?" I ask and he smirks.

"No, I'm the lead of this film and we've got chemistry testing going on today. You?" he says and I nod.

"I'm auditioning for the female lead," I say as we walk into the building.

"Great, just the people I was looking for." I hear a man with an heavy English accent say from behind us.

"Hey, Sam! Amelia this is the director Sam Kadeldon." Alexander says introducing us.

"Amelia Hayes...in the flesh. This is going to be good. How do you two know each other?" Kadeldon says.

"We just bumped into each other at Panera's." Alexander says.

"More like I ran into you." I say and both men laughed.

"I like this," Kadeldon says, smiling at us.

"You should be very afraid," Alexander says.

"Indeed so, let's go." Kadeldon says leading us to a room.

"I want to run through the scene where they meet, their falling out, and some lighter moments just to see if you both could pull it off." he says, sitting behind a table.

(So there's no confusion this is Alexander and Amelia acting, I'm not sure if I'm gonna give their characters name b/c I don't want anyone to be confused)

"I loved you!" Alexander yells at me as I cry.

"No, don't say that! You still do! And I still love you." I cry to him, grabbing his arm.

"No, no you don't. You want to know how I know you don't? Because if you did you'd have never hurt me like you did." he says with tears in his eyes.

"You slept with another man....and what's worst is that I found out from someone else." He adds, moving my hand from his arm.

"Imagine that, just when I thought I'd found the one...so you're right I love you, and I'm just going to have to move on from that." he says walking away as I fall to the ground.

"Please don't leave me! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry." I call out to him.

"And...scene!" Kadeldon says and I close my eyes, trying to calm myself down.

"That was amazing! Great job, truly I am in awe of you two." he says as Alexander walks to me and helps me up. I take his hand and stand up.

"Thank you," I say, wiping tears away. I feel Alexander's arm go around my waste pulling me into his side.

"You were great," he says as I relax.

"So were you," I answer him. I look away from him and see Kadeldon staring at us.

"I'm not suppose to do this but...fuck it. Amelia you are my female lead. This is going to be great!" he says, clapping his hands.
