"Mom, I'll be back soon. I'm only leaving for a month." I say as I hug my mother on my front porch.

"Oh I know sweet heart but I feel like we didn't get hardly any time together this past week." she says.

"I'll call you everyday...we'll Facetime. Four weeks will pass by before you know it," I tell her and she pulls me in her arms.

"You'd think I'd be used to this by now, eh?" she asks and I smile at her.

"I don't think saying goodbye is something we should get used to," I answer her and she nods.

"I hate to break this up but we have to go, love." Alexander says, Kendall standing by his side.

"I'll let you go now," mom says and I step behind her to group hug Shane, Kevin, and Ana.

"I'll see you all soon, I love you." I say walking over to the stairs.

"Love you too," they all say together.

"Your family is close." Kendall says and I nod.

"Extremely," I answer and she smiles.

"We weren't always that close though; Besides our history, my career has definitely made us appreciate our time together." I explain.

"Speaking of family, are your's coming down Friday?" Alexander asks, grabbing my hand.

"Yeah, mom and the boys are coming down Friday and my dad on Saturday." she answers and I smile.

"Well they can have my place, no else is there and my mom and Liam left it pretty clean from their last visit." I tell and she thanks me.

"To the airport we go," I sing as we walk to the car.

"Dylan, Jordan, and Vanessa said they're fifteen minutes away from the airport so they'll get there before us." Kendall announces.

"Oh, tell Dylan to buy me a ice tea please." I say buckling my seat belt.

"Okay," she says.

"So how'd your audition go?" she asks sitting back in her seat.

"It was a lot of fun, I met so many people...but I don't know if I got the role which is strange. I always know at the end by how I'm feeling and this time I just couldn't tell." I tell them.
