Chapter 12: On Top Of The World

"Action!" I hear Kadeldon say as I stand in place. Seconds later Alexander steps into view and I frown like the script says I do.

"Chloe Parker?" Alexander calls me by character name.

"Yes, can I help you?" I ask playing suspicious of his character.

"My name is Trevor...um Trevor Pavan." he says and I stare at him.

"Can I help you Trevor?" I ask and he smiles, shaking his head.

"No, I don't think you can. I'm just here to escort you to Mrs. Dun office." Alexander recites.

"Why am I going there? She's our counselor," I say and he shrugs.

"She wants to talk to you, apparently." he says before gesturing for me to follow him, I go with a frown on my face.

"Cut!" Kadeldon says and I smile at Alexander.

"See you haven't messed up once today," I say, poking him in his arm. We'd shot three scenes together already, all out of order.

"We still have two more scenes to finish today," he says and I chuckle.

"Don't jinx yourself, babe. You're doing great." I tell him and he pulls me into his side.

"Hey you two," Kadeldon says cutting off whatever Alexander was going to say. I stay in Alexander's arms and we both smile at Kadeldon.

"Hey boss man," Alexander says cheerily.

"We have the host from ET and E! News here doing a behind the scenes sneak peek of the film. I know you two are very private about your relationship because of all the rumors but I'm almost a hundred percent sure they filmed what just happened a moment ago." he says and my smiles dims some. I feel Alexander arms loosen around me.

"Also ET would like to interview the both of you in five minutes," he says and I nod.

"Okay," I say since Alexander was still mute. Kadeldon hit the top of our heads with his rolled up script and walks away.

"So what do we do?" I ask, Alexander turning to look at him. His arms were still wrapped around me, I looked around and saw that both cameras were on our fellow cast mates as they did their interviews.

"What do you mean?" He finally says, his arms tightening around me again. I turn in his arms until we're chest to chest and smile at him.

"Do we keep our space or go on with our normal routine?" I ask and he doesn't answer me right away.

"Let's look at this from both perspectives; we are just two friends who enjoy each others company very much." he says and I nod.

"And to the public we are trying to our insta-love affair private," I say and he nods.

"And no matter how many times, or how many ways we say we aren't together the rumors keep on coming." I add and he lets go of me completely.

"I say we keep on with our normal routine," he says surprising me as he grabs my hand and spins me into his arms.

"You couldn't have just said that without all the dramatics?" I ask, laughing and he shrugs.

"We are on the set of drama film, remember...also we're both actors." he says and I pinch him before pushing him away.

"You're such a jerk, Knight." I tell him and he chuckles, pulling me back to him.

"You love me anyway, Hayes." he says, kissing the side of my head. I look over and see Kendall blushing as she looks at Dylan who seems very amused during their interview.
