3 months later~

Time passed by quickly for the adventure kids with Kali's crystal magic to fast forward a little.

Teeders and David had been traveling with the wise men for a long time now. The wise men did find it a little strange how Teeders and David could talk to the camels. But nevertheless, they accepted their special abilities.

Teeders had been sharing a bond with Deborah during all that time, while David was hanging more with Felix, sharing many similar traits with each other.

The camels continued on with the humans on their journey to King Herod's palace, but Felix was falling behind.

"Hang on! Cyrus! Deborah!" Felix desperately called out, dragging himself along. "Come on, guys! Wait up!"

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me" David groaned as this trip was taking longer then expected, and the camels had to agree.

"I expected a left turn two deserts ago" Cyrus said.

"I'm dying back here!" Felix called out tiredly.

"I can't believe we passed that last oasis" Deborah added. "I'm getting thirsty"

Teeders looked behind on Deborah's back at an exhausted Felix and David. "You boys okay back there?"

"I'll be okay once we find a place cool to rest" David panted, sweating from the blazing desert heat.

"You think these wise guys are lost" Felix asked, finally catching up.

"Of course not" Teeders replied.

"She's right" Deborah added. "Wise men don't get lost, Felix"

"So you're saying they know where this birthday party is?" Felix asked.

"And what makes you so certain it's a birthday party?" Cyrus asked.

"Oh, here we go" Deborah started, rolling her eyes at the boys while looking up at Teeders.

"Have you seen the presents these guys are bringing?" Felix asked the gang. "Gold, myrrh, frankincense"

"Could be a baby shower" Cyrus guessed. "You bring gifts to a baby shower"

"What's a baby gonna do with frankincense, silly camel?" Felix scoffed. "It's a birthday party"

The two male camels kept arguing about whether it was a baby shower or birthday party, until the two adventure teens spoke up.

"You're wasting your time, guys" Teeders and David told the camels, knowing the real reason why they were on this journey.

"They could be right" Deborah agreed, wondering. "What if it's not a party at all? What if we're on our way to do something important like, I don't know, meeting the Son of God?"

But Cyrus and Felix just looked to them like they were crazy, not believing them.

"Oh, Deborah's crazier than a box of rocks" Felix commented.

"I believe the expression is, 'Dumb as a box of rocks'" Cyrus corrected the dumber camel.

"You ever shake a box of rocks?" Felix asked Cyrus. "They sound crazy"

Teeders and David glanced to each other and sighed, knowing how crazy these camels were since they met them.

"Even Santa has it easier than this" David mentioned with a sigh.

"Who is this Santa character you speak of?" Felix asked curiously, overhearing the teenager.

"Oh! He's, uh..." David's mind was suddenly in a blank. The two teens quickly tried to cover that up since they'd be messing with the timeline.
