Only a few hours later of traveling on foot, which was no easy task, the gang was actually making pretty good time. Despite the twins' continuous complaints on saying how you couldn't get anywhere without a bike or a car or a plane and so on.

Ann groaned as she ran just behind Kali and Bo. "My feet are killing me"

"Mine too" her twin brother called out in agreement, falling way behind from the rest of the group.

"Okay, Dave, be honest" Kali was about to ask the dove. "Are we lost?"

"No" Dave replied, still flying ahead.

"Are you sure?" Ann raised an eyebrow at him.

"Yeah, cause this doesn't exactly look like the beaten path" Bo agreed.

"It's a shortcut" Dave turned back to them. "Trust me"

But just then, the rest of the gang gasped as they realized they were heading right for the edge of a cliff and came to a screeching halt. Bo almost fell off, but Kali quickly grabbed his tail tightly in her grasp, with the twins helping her. The little donkey screamed out in terror as he was just dangling over the edge of the cliff before the three human kids pulled him back up to safety.

"Are you okay?" Kali asked Bo softly in concern.

The petrified little donkey was hyperventilating while he covered his eyes with his ears. Dave saw what had happened and flew back over to the gang.

"Bo. Look at me, buddy" Dave told his best friend. "Just breathe... Breathe..."

"Nope. That's it!" Bo said with fear in his voice, shivering. "No more of your terrible shortcuts!"

"Guys, look!" Brock suddenly pointed out, spotting two someones down at the bottom the cliff.

"It's Mary and Joseph!" Ann beamed.

"That's them!" Bo ears perked up once he saw Mary and Joseph.

"Guess we'll have to take my terrible shortcut" Dave smirked. "You're welcome"

"Seriously?" Brock asked, not only scared, but already tired of having already ran thoughs past few miles wearing nothing but sandals.

"I guess we have no choice" Kali told her younger siblings.

"Oh no, no, no, no. Come on. Really?" Bo seemed pretty scared. "Which way are we supposed to go?"

"It's a cliff" Dave said, flying down below. "You go down"

After thinking of how he was going to make this work, Bo nervously covered his eyes and turned around, putting his back leg out first to go down backwards.

"Bo, be careful" Kali called out, worried as the little donkey started to make his way down the treacherous high cliff.

The three siblings watched Bo until he tripped, falling down the cliff until they couldn't see him anymore which made them worry.

"I'm going down after him" Kali turned to her younger siblings.

"Be careful, sis" The twins looked worried for their big sister's safety.

"Don't worry, you know I will" The tomboy called back before she slowly and carefully started making her way down the side of the cliff.

Once she got down a-ways, she saw Bo close by, having get some help from a friendly little sheep.

"Hey, Bo!" Kali called out, coming down closer to him and the sheep.

"Kali?" Bo turned to the tomboyish teenager as she slid down. "Where are the others?"
