ANNABETHS POV

"That's a good movie." A deep voice tickles my ear and I whip around to find Ashton bending over me, smiling like a ninny. "Ash, do you have a fetish for scaring the hell out if people by sneaking up on them?" I laughed "honestly you seem to always creep around." Ashton poses like a ninja "I'm a teenage mutant ninja turtle. You'll never see me coming." He was sooo cute but such an ass. "Fine. I can't hang out with turtles so..." I started to get up and immeadiently Ashton started protesting "pleaseeeee no stay I'm not a turtle!"

Ashton told me to stay put as he walked over to the aisle I was sitting in and say in a seat next to me "seriously, it's a good movie." I giggle "you? Like the breakfast club? Sure." He gives me a dead serious look "I live for comedies and drama." "Ok then." I ignore him and turn to the screen. I felt my eyes starting to get droopy and full, "don't fall asleep" I thought to myself, but in seconds, I was asleep on Ashton's shoulder.

"Annabeth" a gentle voice called my name. "Where are we?" I got up to look at Ashton, who was giving me a stupid half smile which got on my nerves. "You feel asleep on me." Ashton flashed me a grin, and proudly put his hands behind his head. Why did I have to fall asleep on such a smug know it all? "Whatever Ash, it's 10:00 we should go." He got up and held out his hand, and pulled me up. "Wow what are you a gentleman or a dick?" He shrugs "well... I'm both." I laugh and we walk out of the dim theater.

Ashton scratched his neck, and shuffled his feet as he drove me home. Something was on his mind. "You ok?" I lean slightly and strands of my long hair dangle in front of my face. He looks over at me quickly and nods then focuses back on the road ahead of him. He's definitely distracted. My mind was tugging and pleading to know. "Here we are." Ashton's voice ripped me from my train of thought as he pulled into my big apartment complex. "Thanks." I smile and he walks me in the cold summer night to my door.

"Thanks for letting me sleep a little, I've been kinda busy lately." I let out a light laugh and start to turn my knob. "Hey, I was wondering do you maybe wanna go to dinner... You know just you and I?" Ashton stammered out and looked at me with pleading hazel green eyes. I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him, enhaling his peppermint and firewood scent. "Yes." I murmured as he wrapped his arms around my waist, embracing me as well. He let go a few moments later "yes. I will go to dinner with you." I smiled and waved to him, then gently closed the door, leaving his face suprised and shocked. He waved goodbye and started to walk back. I closed the knob and leaned against the door, sighing. Can somebody pinch me?

A/N ok so this chapter is a little sappy. But things are looking good for ash and Annabeth let's hope they can keep the spark :D
