'It'd be faster to transform and fly there. We're in the west wing, it's gonna take too long to reach the other side of the campus. It'd be too late by then. '

Why be early? I get to devour souls if they evolve. Un-evolved corruptions taste like nothing.

'Just transform already would you.'

Ohohoho. Somebody getting annoyed~? Now you get how i feel. Hehe.

After getting her revenge at annoying Lias, Lillia decided to get serious. After making sure that no one else is on the rooftop, and that Leo had left, she started her transformation.

" It's been awhile... Might as well enjoy this.

Once again, her hair faded White Silver, her eyes gleamed scarlet, pointed ears, claw-like hands. This time though, she activated her wings. Just for the sake of getting there faster.  Unfolding her wings were like a flock of birds that scurried away. Her wings were the very presence of darkness. A tone of black so dark that just a glimpse of it would drag you to the abyss.

"Lias, Ready?"

'Always ready.'

"Let's go!" 

And with that, they left off.

"That's some ominous aura though. It's just the first day of school and already this strong. I doubt much could've happen today too. Imagine the rest of the year."

'Just the thought of it makes your soul quiver doesn't it.'

"Definitely. We're almost there. It's quite a small phantom for an aura that big though. "

'Ominous as it is but it wouldn't be more than a C-ranked.'

"You actually created a chart for it?"

'Why not? it's fun and a good kill time for me.'

". . . Gotta find a landing spot . . ."

'Ya'know, I'm literally a part of your soul. I can tell when you're judging me.'

"It's like I'm judging myself then. You got a problem with that?"

'Ouch.'

"Alright. can you tell the reason of corruption? Any way of saving?"

"Lias."

"Sigh.. Lias,  you're over a century old. Are you gonna stop being childish and answer m-"

The phantom stretched its' hand and swatted Lillia away as if she was a mere fly. Lillia couldn't dodge in time and hit the wall with an impact that caused part of the wall to crumble. The phantom stayed at the same spot, wailing as if it's crying. It screamed and started damaging the buildings around. Lillia barely gotten up fast enough to dodge falling debris. All Phantoms has a weak spot. Most of them has a gemstone somewhere on the body. It's purpose is to gather energy from surroundings. It can be plants, light anything to do with energy. Even a humans'. It's also where the soul of the victim is. The soul is the finest form of a life. It's the most powerful as well as the most vulnerable. 

"Ouch..."

'Now you know how i felt. It's a lost case - can't be saved. It's ability is no more than stretching its' limbs but this one had been corrupted for months now. Only started to evolve after a last push from something.'
