It's been a few days since I woke up and Tevan was gone. I've gone to his workplace everyday and his employer told me Tevan asked for a few days off and he told her he will be spending the next week with her brother- Christmas is just around the corner.
I didn't bother going to see him at his apartment because he probably needed his space. I tried calling but he wasn't picking my calls.
I don't know why I feel so drawn to him. At the beginning it was all because of his good looks, I mean the young man is gorgeous and to die for. But as time went on and I kept on budging him for a date, I grew to like his personality. He was sweet and cute with the way he is shy. All that time I spent with him at the café made me want him more.
I swing my chair around, away from my desk, and look out the floor to ceiling glass overlooking the city. My company was just a few blocks away from central park, and since it's a tall building, I can see the top of the trees- nature is beautiful.
"Sir, your 6:30 is here" I swing back around to look at my PA, Jeff. He is a thick man of colour, with beautiful brown eyes adorned with thick, dark lashes.
"But its only 4pm" I say after glancing at my wrist watch, he is supposed to be here in 2 hours time.
"Yes sir, I know. He said that he has an emergency at the appointed time so if you have time right now, he would appreciate if you had the meeting now." He says nervously, he's always nervous around me.
I get up and grab the files I need for this meeting before heading to the boardroom. I can hear Jeff's steps following me.
"Mr. Kent, thanks for meeting me in such short notice."
I sit down and look at the man before me. He is sitting down but that doesn't hide how tall he probably is. The black suit he is wearing sits well on him, the way it wraps around his big arms looks nice.
The man had pride, I mean he was apologising yet his voice was commanding with its baritone and the way he sat with his back straight and hands entwined on the table before him.
"It's no bother, Mr.Musina." I say after assessing him. I open up my file and we get onto business. After the whole discussion we come to the conclusion with a deal, our companies will be working together on a project- a school for orphans.
My construction company will be doing the building of the school and his company, which covers a lot of things will provide the furnishings and study material; books, blackboards, projectors and computers for the library.
After shaking hands he leaves with a promise to contact me and Jeff tells me done for the day, I'm glad about that. Calling my driver to get to the front, I get up and exit my office into the elevator to go to the first floor.

After I eat dinner, I put away the plate in the dishwasher since Rose already went home at 7. She had left the food for me in the oven when I got home.
After cleaning up the table I go to the TV room and turn on the TV, Supernatural is playing- gosh I hate this show, but Tevan seems to like it so I'm gonna have to suck it up and watch it so I have something to talk to him about.
I grab my phone, after 30 minutes of watching the excruciating show, and call Tevan and as expected he doesn't pick up.
Sighing, I turn off the TV and head to my bedroom to have an early night. My bedroom is all white, it's the same room I brought Tevan to after he passed out.
Lying in bed, the sheets no longer smell like him, he smells like apples. It's girly but it suits him, not that he's girly- he's anything but.
I don't get why he panicked and fainted the other day, all I did was take him to one of my friend's bowling alleys and the sweet man freaked before we could even to inside.
I remember the look of horror that overtook his face and when I touched him, you could swear he saw Valik from the conjuring 2 before his eyes rolled to the back of his head.

A week has passed since Tevan left my house and I haven't seen or talked to him since. Christmas is in four days and I gave Rose Two weeks off to go spend time with her family.
As for me, I have a Christmas dinner to attend on Friday, for the company and then I'm alone. Holidays aren't my favourite since they're all about family and I don't have one.
My family hates me for who I am, they don't like the people I fall in love with because it's wrong- hood thing I don't care what they think. They even asked me to get help as if I was sick, so I haven't seen them in 6 years, and I'm happy.
Christmas comes and goes and I'm obviously not happy that I had to be alone on Christmas, I did the usual by just attend the Christmas party the night before and on Christmas during the day I went to work at the office before going home at 7pm.
When I got to the empty house, it felt bigger than usual on that night. I kinda wished Tevan would've spent the night with me, just having dinner with him would've made my night- hell it would've made my whole year. But since it's not gonna happen,
I made a microwave dinner and had wine before going to sleep and hoping the night flies by very fast.Being alone is suddenly the worst feeling ever.
