A New Journey Begins!!!

11: Saying Goodbye

Ash's P.O.V.

Okay... WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!  She just CAUGHT Necrozma!!!  Arceus, that's so cool... but why does Moon look so sad?

Normal P.O.V.

Moon threw her hand up in the air.  "Let's go home," she said, putting away a Premier Ball with her other hand.  An Ultra Wormhole appeared in the sky.  All of the Team Eclipse members were sucked up.

"You are gonna pay when you join us.  Mark my words, YOU WILL PAY!!!" Jayden, the boss of Team Eclipse yelled as he got sucked up.

"You'll be grounded by Arceus LONG  before you see me again..." Moon remarked, really stressing out the 'LONG'.  Ash ran up to Moon.

"What's happening?!?!" he asked as he dodged some of the flailing arms and legs of Team Eclipse Grunts.

"I'm taking them back to my world, where they belong," Moon replied.  The two got in a very emotional hug.

"I don't want you to leave," Ash pouted.  They had so many memories made together...

"I don't want to leave, either... but it's for the best."  Moon's feet slowly began floating into the air.

"I'm really going to miss you..."

"I'm gonna miss you too..."  Moon began gently letting her arms leave Ash's.  They were now just holding hands.

"Wait, Moon?"

"What is it, Ash?" she replied, looking back at him.

"Thanks for everything.  You are the closest thing I've ever had to a sister."

"And you're like a brother to me as well, Ash."  Ash let go of Moon's hand.  She sprung into the air.

"Bye, Moon!"

"Don't ever forget me, Ash!!!"  Moon disappeared into the Ultra Wormhole... and then it closed.  Ash immediately burst into tears.

"Pika pika?" Pikachu asked, worried.

"I just really miss her already," Ash said, wiping his face.

"Pika..." Pikachu agreed, nodding its head.

Meanwhile... when the wormhole opened, Gladion's P.O.V.

Home.  Finally!  I hit the ground, running.  That Ultra Wormhole is my ticket home.  It's coming from Ten Cerat Hill... interesting...

Third Person P.O.V.

Gladion was getting closer to Ten Cerat Hill by the second.  He quickly climbed the outside of the wall... and then he was finally in range.  He jumped up, letting the portal take him home.  Ash and Moon didn't notice this during their goodbyes.

Back to after it closed now... Ash's P.O.V.

"Well, guess I should continue my journey now..." I said to Pikachu as I stood up.  Pikachu hopped onto my shoulder, attempting to agree... but that's when I noticed IT.  I at first felt it, because SHE left it in my hand.  It was a picture.  A picture of Moon and I.  There was a note on it. It said:

'Thanks for everything you've done and always being there for me.  I couldn't have done it without you.  Please continue to protect your world.

I read over it a few times.  I wanted to thank her, too.  For helping me.  If it wasn't for her, I would have fallen down that pit!  If it wasn't for her, Mallow would still be asking me those weird questions!!  If it wasn't for her, Team Eclipse would've taken over this world!!!  If it wasn't for her... I wouldn't have this empty feeling inside right now.  This pain... this sadness... it's all new to me...
