7: Serena

Moon's P.O.V.

"Hey, Moon..." Ash began.  Was he going to ask me something?

"Ash!!!" someone yelled.  I turned to face whoever was calling for Ash.  Some stranger was running up to us.  She was glaring at me.  Uh oh.  "That's my BOYFRIEND!!!" she pushed me over the edge.  I held my breath... and my body plunged into the water.

Ash's P.O.V.

"Moon!" I yelled.  Right after Serena pushed Moon into the water, she instantly hugged me.

"I missed you so much, Ashy," she said.  I pushed her away.

"I am NOT your boyfriend, Serena!!!" I shouted.  Moon surfaced.  I sighed with relief.  "You almost drowned one of my friends!!!"

Moon's P.O.V.

I heard Ash yelling at his girlfriend.  I didn't even know he had one.  I climbed back onto the ground.  I'm soaked.  I felt a soft towel cover me.  I looked up and saw Lillie.

"Thanks, Lillie."

"You're welcome, Moon."

"I'm gonna take a quick walk."

"Okay."  I quickly started off on my walk.  Ash's girlfriend didn't seem too nice.  Obviously she didn't want me spending time with Ash.  But I like spending time with him.  He tells me things about Pokemon, Alola, his adventures, and everything.  But he never talked about her.  It's so strange.  And if those two are together, then why didn't Ash come to Alola with her?  Is he trying to avoid her?  Who knows?

I walked around until sunset.  The walk helped me think... a lot.  I went to Lillie's house and returned the towel.  My clothes were still damp... but I don't want to tell anyone that.  I'm right outside the Professor's house.  Here goes.

Third Person P.O.V.

Moon walked into Professor Kukui's house.  She was greeted by the Professor.

"Hello, Moon," Kukui greeted.  Moon didn't respond.  With her eyes a little teary and her clothes still wet she ran to her room.  A few hours later Ash came into the house.

"Hello, Ash," Kukui greeted.  Ash turned to him.

"Is Moon home?" Ash asked.  Kukui nodded.

"She's in her room," Kukui responded, "She's been in there for hours.  She was in a hurry when she got home."

'Oh no,'  Ash thought.  He ran to Moon's room.

Moon's P.O.V.

Almost done.  I quickly wiped away my tears.  I hope Kukui didn't see me like this.  My hair is a mess, and I look like a big crybaby.  Nobody likes a crybaby.  I felt someone grab my hand.  It was Ash.

"Moon, look, I'm sorry," he began.  I wrenched my hand away and ran to the back porch.

"It's not your fault, Ash!" I yelled as I ran.  I think he followed me, because I could hear footsteps running after me.  WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU, ASH?!?!

"I'm sorry about Serena.  I didn't know she'd be coming," he continued.

"Well, you were trying to hide her from me!" I shouted, tears streaming down my face. "It's obvious your girlfriend doesn't want me around!!!  She doesn't want me to talk to you anymore!  I'm leaving!!!!!"  Ash put both of his hands on my shoulders.

"Serena is very annoying at times.  Why would she ever be my girlfriend?  Besides, I'd never be a good boyfriend.  No matter what!" he told me. "She just wants for me to love her like the way she loves me.  That's why she calls me her boyfriend.  Kinda crazy, right?"  I turned around and looked at him.  "The reason why I didn't tell you about her was because I didn't know what you'd think."  He wiped the tears off my face.  Ash feels like a brother to me.  He's so nice, kind, and sweet... and he comforts me when I'm sad.  I hug him.

"Thanks, Ash."

"Anytime, Moon."

Mallow's P.O.V.

Was that Serena lady Ash's girlfriend, or was Ash telling the truth about her not being his girlfriend.  I wonder how Moon feels.  I kinda feel bad for using my will power to try to destroy the thought of Ash and Moon being together.  Instead, I summoned a new ship.  Ash and Serena.  But then Ash yells at her.  So, which one of my ships will win?
