"Elle! Let's have a sleepover! We can make a fort in the living room and watch movies all night!" I suggested while we were looking at all the flowers in the garden in the front of my house.

"Okay! What kind of movies are we gonna watch!" She asked excitedly as she thought about having a sleepover at my house and watching movies.

"We can watch Disney movies! It will be great!" and with that we were running into my house to build a fort for tonight.

We spend two hours making the perfect fort before we were both satisfied. We had a whole bunch of blankets and pillows inside of it, and now we were making popcorn to eat while we watched our movies.

After spending most of the night watching movies we were both tired, and ready for bed. We both brushed our teeth, and got in our jammies.

Once we were done, we got into the fort and got comfortable. "Good night Elle, see you in the morning when we get up!" I said adding a yawn at the end.

"Goodnight, see you in the morning."

And with that we both fell asleep.

Beep Beep Beep

It was memories like that, that kept the hope of seeing Elle again.

She left five years ago, and I haven't talked to or seen her since. I always wished we stayed in touch because she was my best friend, and I was honestly lost when she left. I didn't come out of my room for like a week. I didn't talk to anyone either.

You could definitely say that Elle leaving left a huge impact on my life, because it did, but someday I'm just gonna have to get over it, because I doubt she'll be coming back to this little town.

I got out of bed and got ready for another day of school. Thank god it was finally Friday.

There is supposed to be this big party tonight, and I've been waiting all week to get wasted.

When Elle left I became very antisocial. I didn't wanna be hurt the way I was when she just left me. Once I got into high school, my freshman year was what some would say a horror. That was when I started to become the person I am today.

I got into the wrong crowd and started partying. I know what you're thinking. Partying at 15?! But like I said. The wrong crowd.

It was probably then I started to become a 'player' but it wasn't well known until the following year. My sophomore year was a bit better than my freshman year, but not much. I got rid of some of the wrong people I hung with, but still partied and slept around.

By the time I finished getting ready and eating breakfast, I started on my way to school. It was 6:30 and I didn't have to be there until 7 but, I liked getting there a bit early to talk to friends.

The one thing I hate about where I live is that it's next to Elle's old house, so everyday is like a reminder of what used to be.

"Let's run up the hill and see who can roll down the fastest!" I was always coming up with random ideas but Elle never seemed to mind because she came up with some too.

"Okay and who ever loses has to eat a piece of grass!" She suggested while running up the hill.

"Hey that's not fair! Get back here!" I started running equally as fast trying to catch up to her.

Once we both got to the top, we counted to three and started rolling. In the end, I won and Elle had to eat a piece of grass.

"Ew this is gross!" She exclaimed while scrunching her face up at the piece of grass.

"It was your idea!" "Yeah well I thought I was gonna win!" After about two minutes of staring at the grass she finally put it in her mouth and started eating it.

"EW!!" We both screamed at the same time laughing.

It wasn't until someone opened the door that I realized I was staring at the house, with way too many memories, smiling at it.

'I didn't know anyone moved into there' I thought to myself finally convincing myself to walk off the porch and start walking to my car.

Once I got into my car, I sat there and looked over to the house across the yard.

A girl that looked about my age was getting into her car, with her book bag on her shoulders. Once she finally got into her car, she checked her phone and then started the engine, pulling out of her drive way.

I decided I should probably start moving and make my way to school before I actually was late.
